Definitely one of my favorite Hostels in whole New Zealand. A vibrant place with many paintings made by travelers. The must do is a surf lesson with Steve at the Tip or Tauranga Bay, a SUP tour on the Buller river or a Box circuit with Ray in the gym next door.

Stopped here whilst on the kiwi experience. Me and my boyfriend chose to have a private room which to be fair was only $70 so one of the cheaper ones in New Zealand. The room we stopped in was called the palace but it was far from a palace, the bed was so uncomfortable and the sheets were so old...

I've been to Bazil's first as a visitor in February 2017 then again to woof in April 2017. Loved both stays. Bazil's is beautiful - full of art, and has heaps of different areas to chill in. It is impossible to be bored. The staff there are friendly and keen to offer the most of what Westport and the surrounding...

Very cute little hostel in Westport with great cooking facilities, a cozy sitting room, a gym next door and free wifi. Unfortunately the receptionist was very unhelpful and unfriendly which left a sour taste in our mouth. It was a pity as Brazil's is otherwise a great place to stay.

Such a nice hostel, feels like home! Room was quite small and the bunks were tiny but for one night it was fine. Kitchen felt like a lodge home kitchen, so much better than most hostels. Kept clean and plenty of pans/cutlery/etc. Free coffee and tea as well! Maybe needs another cook top to cater for the full coach load...

This hostel was amazing! So cosy, warm and friendly. Defo felt like a home. The living area was perfect!! The kitchen was clean and tidy and the bathrooms were good! Not that much to do in the surrounding area so wouldn't have stayed longer that 1 night!

Clean rooms (quite small but comfortable), free wifi and two kitchens. Has a nice little vibe, with a decent location, and a good TV lounge to chill in on a rainy day. Was quite reasonably priced. Would stay here again.

Visited this place last year and I was in love with it straight away. So much art and a real comfy feel to it! The duty manager Ray has very good chat with a touch of sass. Good old fashioned NZ banter! Loads of amenities and fully functional kitchens, free wifi and a warm communal lounge with fire place. Rooms...
