Just outside of town, this lodge has a wonderful view of the lake and mountains beyond. Our luxurious room was on the upper-level with a fabulous view. However, they were have a heat wave in February and didn't have AC. So, we had to keep the blinds drawn to repel the afternoon sun. Probably unusual. We did the lodge's package...

Heli-hiking, jet boat trout fishing, Milford sound cruise - Priceless. Let Andy, one of the owners, help you plan the adventure of your life. I have done adventure activities all over the world and must say Fiorland Lodge is one of the best places in the world. Not only are the activities awesome, the lodge is stunning! If you are...

Very welcoming. I took many photos of the beautiful wood interior design and how could we go wrong when this is an Orvis approved fishing lodge- just frustrating we only had one night here. It felt a little like a James Bond set with helicopters taking off to take couples on trips! Food was high quality but would have preferred...

We thought we'd died and gone to heaven. This is an amazing place so beautifully designed and you couldn't wish for a more stunning location. There was so much attention to detail and so much that was complimentary, a load of laundry, a pre dinner drink and canapé each evening, the room's fridge contents and afternoon tea. We couldn't get...

Stayed here in 2012 and again in 2016 - this is the only 'repeat' accommodation on our 2016 - it is unmissable in my opinion. As other reviewers say, this is a lodge that lives up to its name, the main lounge is massive, the fireplaces are huge as are the lake and mountain views. The bedrooms are great (somehow...

Louise and Andy were warm and welcoming hosts at this superb timber lodge overlooking Lake Te Anea.
