Basic, but clean and convenient room. Wi-fi was frustratingly bad in the room and was annoying not having a wardrobe as often useful to hang things up especially after getting wet at Milford Sound. About a 5 min walk into town. No laundry facilities on site, but a launderette about 5 mins away - again useful after trekking around Milford...

I stayed in the Stuart Cottage, a cute little cottage with its own lovely garden. The room was beautifully set out, very clean and comfortable. I cannot speak highly enough of the hosts, Dave and Jane. Awesome hosts - very pleasant and most helpful. I will definitely stay at Templenoe Cottages again and will be recommending it to my friends.

What a lovely cosy place to stay... Quality bed linen and fluffy towels. Stayed in the garden cottage and it was beautiful. We were given great information on the town and David & Jane were a great help directing us to an amazing tour of Milford sounds. What a amazing holiday!!!

We stayed in the Kepler Cottage. It provided everything we needed before and after the Kepler Track. The room was very clean and very comfortable in a little oasis of Rowan trees on the edge of town. We loved it. The Wifi didn't reach our cottage, but we were happy to go to the bench near the office - Wifi...

We spent 2 nights in the cottage close to the road : it was small, no place to put our clothes and no wi-fi contrary to what was mentioned when we booked. We paid 458 NZD which we consider overpriced for what it was. We do not recommend it.

Excellent accommodation on the main road into town, which is handy to the lake, restaurants, supermarket etc. Clean and tidy with all facilities needed for an extended stay. Only downside was that there was no wardrobe space. Friendly helpful host. Be warned there is a 3% credit card charge.

Stayed in Murchison Cottage. This was our second stay here. We love the location and being able to sit in the quiet garden, yet easy walk into Town and the Lake itself. Hosts are wonderful. Really know the area and have some very good guide books on local walks.Good catering facilities and BBQ available. Cottage is plenty big enough for...

I would say that the accommodation is decent at best. Pros: 1) The hosts are welcoming and friendly 2) location is quite convenient - located very close to the town centre Cons: 1) Overpriced 2) Free wi-fi is available, but the signal strength is poor
