We were made very welcome by Cis & Les and had a great stay in Queenstown. The breakfast was lovely - particularly the pancakes. Fantastic view from our room. James & Gordon

We had 3 nights here. The accommodation was clean and comfortable - we didn't have any problem with bugs as reported elsewehere - not sure what that's all about. Marvellous views from our room. Good breakfast selections and options. We had a bagful of dirty washing on arrival after several days travel and Cis took it off our hands and...

When we checked into the Balmoral lodge, we were greeted by Les (Cis was out of town at the time). He helped us with our bags, and was very informative about booking trips and where to park in town. We enjoyed a great conversation with him as well the next morning at breakfast; we learned alot about NZ current events....

We stayed here as one of the 5 B&B's during our trip to New Zealand. The house itself is nice and the room we were in had a breathtaking view of the water and mountains. The room we stayed in was okay, but the bathroom had some issues, a few dead bugs! It was weird because the places seemed to...

Our hosts, Cis and Les, were friendly and offered expert advice on the best trips and excursions to make the most of our time in Queenstown. They were happy to book trips on our...

The Balmoral Lodge sits on a hill above Queenstown with a wondeful view of the lake, town and mountains. Our queen suite was comfortable and had a great view. Each day started with a great breakfast and enjoyable conversation with Les and Cis. They took care of all our needs and really provided a great jumping off spot for enjoying...

Choose this B&B from it's rating on Tripadvisor and have to say we were a bit disappointed. The stay did not start well when we were given a text book example of how not to greet paying guests. Having arrived at the time we had advised previously, we were asked asked why we were there. Having explained that we were...

“Though close to town this apartment is not somewhere I'd walk to/from unless you liked steep hill climbing. With a mix-aged group - there were five in our group - it was nice to have the youngest child sleeping close by in the living room while the adult kids had their own separate space. The bed in the living room was sooooo comfy but it did limit the living space for the family. Separate ensuite for the master suite was brilliant.”
