Detailed Reviews
We have stayed in many apartments and hotels in Queenstown over the years and the Glebe ticked all the boxes.
Friendly and accommodating staff, spacious apartment with good sized kitchen, fridge and dining area.
Outdoor terrace with barbecue sets.
Free indoor parking. This is a huge plus in Queenstown. Some hotels don't have parking and some charge extra for parking.
A short walk into town and a great view.
Many thanks to Anne and her team for making this a memorable trip.

We had stayed at The Glebe on a previous visit and having been very pleased with the experience decided to stay again . We were very happy with our stay this time . Anne ,Helen and Junio are a great team and you really experience a very genuine empathy and engagement which is often absent from relatively large complexes . The location is absolutely brilliant ie an easy walk to everything . This benefit cannot be over emphasised . The secure underground car park has decent sized spaces and is easy to manoeuvre in which is a rarity these days . Again this is a real plus . The two bedroom apartment we stayed in was well appointed and very comfortable . This complex is not brand new but it is generally very well maintained and of a very good standard . On a future visit we would certainly stay at the Glebe again.

This is a huge property, will need to staff to bring you around the first time and do need to pay attention to avoid getting lost in the compound. The room itself is also very spacious, I would say luxuriously big. Clean and comfortable, which made a very pleasant stay. Parking is free and sheltered.
The location is very good, just 5-10mins walk to the city centre where all the restaurants and bars are located. However, within the compound, it is relatively quiet.

My wife and I and another couple were very lucky to stay in the Remarkables Penthouse and what a stunning room it was. From the amazing views from the decks, enjoyed with nibbles and drinks in the late afternoon sun, the spacious lounge, dining area and kitchen to the large bedrooms - we just had space. The apartment was very clean and had all the amenities you needed. Not only was the penthouse fantastic, it was the service that stood out. We had asked the staff to put groceries away before we got there and it wasn’t an issue, we also asked for a late check out and that also wasn’t an issue. Anne, Helen and Junio, thank you so much for making our long weekend something that we will never forget. We will be back as soon as we get the chance and I highly recommend The Glebe Apartments to anybody who wants great accomodation and fabulous service.

We were lucky enough to get a discounted rate to stay in a street side apartment, which I am picking are the cheaper ones but we couldn't fault the one we stayed in for the price that we paid. Our apartment was two bedroomed with a full kitchen and living area, dining room table and full laundry area. So clean and tidy, with a private courtyard (though too cold to venture out during the time we were there). We will definitely stay at The Glebe if we are lucky enough to go back to Queenstown.

The one bedroom apartment we stayed in (510) was roomy enough and had a view of the gondola.
At check in we were told there were provisions in the room, but they that wouldn’t be replenished and we were given instructions on how to get to the supermarket!
All that was provided in the room was a few sugar packets (no tea and coffee) and some washing powder.
There is a Nespresso machine but no coffee pods.
There is no housekeeping (for a 3 night stay).
The wifi’s free but not reliable.
There’s no air conditioning- there is a small (noisy) fan in the bedroom and an ineffective mobile air conditioning unit in the lounge.
Car park underneath was good. Walking distance to the town.
For close to $300 a night we did expect a bit more.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am extremely sorry there was no teas and coffees perhaps our fantastic staff accidentally forgot to stock this up. We would have happily raced to your apartment and restocked had you let us know. Normally there is more than enough to last a couple of days. There is daily housekeeping which is an optional extra. We have completely rewired this building and have what I am told by guests the fastest free wifi they have ever experienced. Pleased you liked the free car parking. To be right in the heart of Queenstown the price is extremely competitive. The mobile air conditioning units are very effective and we could have shown you how to work it as it sounds like you didn't understand how to operate. If you ever stay in any complex and have any issues please give the host the opportunity to rectify. Kind regards Anne Henley

We were one of the original owners at the Glebe so we decided to stay here for old times sake. We stayed in 601 (lift up to the fifth floor and stairs up one small flight) which was a two bedroom penthouse. The apartments are incredibly spacious with good outdoor areas. The apartment is well laid out and well appointed. Not much has changed really. The common areas looked like they could do with a bit of tlc. There is a very short but steep walk from the main road to the reception and car park entrance.

Apartment was superb - great location within walking distance of Queenstown. The apartment has everything needed to make your stay comfortable. Housekeeping was also exceptional - very accommodating and rooms were cleaned to a high standard. Thank you staff - you do an excellent job!!!!

2 bedroom apartments on the courtyard - quiet and comfortable except for lack of air conditioning. They get very, very hot during these summer days and with no ventilation in the back bedroom - sleep quality is very poor during hot nights and you certainly cannot use the courtyard.
Close to town, well equipped kitchen, including laundry, good off street parking. Has Netflix and DVD player. Little tired around the edges. Staff are exceptional - very warm and welcoming.

We stayed for 4 nights at the Glebe in the 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom apartment on the mountain side. It was very well appointed and had everything we needed. It was close to town and no big hills to walk up. I loved waking up to the view of the mountains and the gondola. It gave us something to look at every day!
There was plenty of parking and it really easy to come and go and access our apartment through the garage. It was very warm - in fact, the only complaint would be that two of the rooms had underfloor heating under the carpet that we couldn't control so it got a bit too warm - it was easy enough to open the window though.
We also asked for a late checkout and the staff were very happy to accomodate. They were friendly and approachable. I will definitely stay there again and I can highly recommend it!

Yes several apartments with Lake views. Access down hill to Lake pathetic about 0.5 km.
We have 2 common courtyards located on the 3rd & 5th floor. The 2 bedroom courtyard apartments would be considered as ground floor.
The Apartments have been built for the long cold winter with underfloor heating. There is no air conditioning however there is fans in all the rooms.
Hi Terry,
Best to ask the Glebe's Managers, Anne, Helen or Junior. They are very friendly and know all your answers. The Glebe is so close to everything in town, no problem with transfer or pick up.
