This place ticked all the boxes for us! We travelled with a toddler+infant and grandparents and we just loved it. It’s set in a beautiful natural setting, with so much green, natural sounds (birds and river) and amazing views. The apt itself has everything you need and they thought of everything so that you can enjoy the stay. The lower floor is spacious with a gas lit fireplace which warms up chilled nights. The outdoor has a very nice table and comfy chairs to enjoy any meals outside too (and the toddler was free to run around and check out the birds and ducks which was a super plus!). The bedrooms are well divided and the staff promptly contacted me to check if i needed a cot/stairs or fire guard which was highly appreciated. As we stayed for 8 nights we had the complimentary house clean up mid stay which was much much appreciated! Location wise while it s not maybe the closest to the city centre it’s 85% flat to get there (lake walk) plus a final slope (unlike other places we checked which were technically closer but up up on a hill!!). Otherwise you can take the Bus 1 which is like 5 min ride so extra convenient! Only feedback for the hotel: with bigger and bigger cars, it was a bit squashed to get out of the parking if neighbour was also parked and it would be nice to have some shade to cover the table if you want to eat out. Yet i would 100% recommend this place and would love to return soon

Just spent 7 nights in heaven! Everything was perfect in every way. It’s was immaculately clean and maintained. The villa was extremely well insulated and heated. Gas fire place was a big hit. Smart TV had Netflix and Disney apps. We were traveling with a 6mo and a 3 year old as well as my parents and it was large enough for us to spread out. My older son loved feeding the ducks who visited our patio every morning. It was perfectly located with easy parking directly out the front so easy to get kids in and out. Our return flight was cancelled so we had to stay a night at accom organised by the airline and we really missed the heated floors and heated towel rail in the bathrooms.

The location, facilities, and staff are all excellent. The unit was impeccably clean, fitted out with everything you could possibly need to feel at home, and with a lake and mountain view you couldn't tire of. You can leave your car behind in the onsite parking, as it is a very pleasant walk to the centre of town (or the bus stops right outside, if you prefer). The villas would particularly suit families and groups looking to self-cater.

We stayed in Villa 10 (three bedrooms) with our two adult sons. They had their own bedroom and a separate bathroom. We had a separate ensuite. The views from this Villa are exceptional. The downstairs area with large kitchen, dining room and lounge. When we first arrived, I was a little concerned because there was no air conditioning but fans in each room were adequate and the boys did not even use theirs. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed to cook for a family of four (and more). Plenty of crockery, glasses, etc and a full size fridge. Great location with a car, but not too much of a walk for a fit person. Bath robes and a fire place were an added bonus as it did get a little cold some nights. Thanks for a great stay. Happy to recommend. Photos you see on the website are correct!

We rented this villa for six days back in May 2021. I walked in, and said, "I never want to leave." The apartment is impeccable, perfectly laid out with everything we needed, comfortable and sophisticated, and the views are simply extraordinary, as the many photos here from other travellers attest. We asked for the two-bedroom option, which just meant that the third bedroom was locked. As we had been travelling for over a week already, we appreciated the laundry facilities.
It is within walking distance of the town (though it is quite a hike back up the hill), and there is a bus service to the Heritage Hotel over the road. Though when the temperatures plummeted, we tended to drive.
It was very reasonably priced for Queenstown between school holidays and before the ski season started.
We will definitely return.

We had an amazing stay at Platinum Queenstown Villas as a family of 5. The villa gave us lots of space to not feel on top of one another, yet it was so cozy and warm with the fireplace and heaters - perfect to come back to after a long day of skiing or adventure. The view from the Lakeview apartments of the Remarkables is nothing short of incredible. The kitchen is really well appointed; it had everything we needed to cook out own meals. Plenty of coffee sachets, dishwashing tabs, toilet paper and laundry powder was provided, which really takes the hassle out of staying somewhere other than home. The staff were easily contactable and efficient. We had groceries delivered to the Villa while we were still on the plane, and they were packed away for us before we arrived - it was so convenient. We loved it so much that booked again for next year and can't wait to go back.

We stayed at Platinum Villas for a week with our 2 little boys aged 4 and 2. The staff at reception were very welcoming and helpful whenever we had any questions. The location was perfect for us as it was not too far from the main town area and there was a beautiful playground right at the bottom of the hill (5 min walk). The villa itself had such breathtaking views and each room was spaciously arranged. Our fav area was the living room with the cozy fireplace and the open kitchen setting which had many utensils, dishes and glasses for our use. We will be sure to visit again!

My family and friends stayed at Platinum Villas for 7 nights, travelling all the way from Queensland, Australia, and I couldn’t have chosen a better place to get ready for my wedding. The villas offer absolutely stunning views, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They truly made my partner and me feel special during this incredible time in our lives.
The villas had everything we needed right at our fingertips, including the convenience of catching up on laundry. But what stood out the most were the breathtaking views and the outstanding hospitality. The aesthetic and warmth of the fireplace were simply unbeatable.
A special mention goes to their in-service dry cleaning – I dropped off my wedding dress the morning after the big day, and it was promptly cleaned and returned, ready to take home. I only wish we could have stayed longer, as it felt just like home.
I can’t wait to share the photos of getting ready at the Villas. I would stay here every time I’m in Queenstown – it’s that good!

This accommodation is on the high end as far as price goes, but I believe it's the best in its price range. Once we arrived in Queenstown we took note of where the other high end hotels were situated, and none of them would have a view as good as Platinum. For our money, we had a three bedroom, two bathroom apartment, set over two levels, with a small balcony upstairs and french doors/private veranda downstairs. The view from upstairs and downstairs was stunning, with the lake and mountains in full view. With quality amenities and furnishings, quiet surroundings and spacious rooms, this luxury accommodation was worth every cent. Away from the centre of town, you can drive or if fit enough, tackle the walk into town (uphill coming home) which would probably take about 20 to 30 minutes.

The beds, sheets & pillows are brilliant! The best sleep we all agreed that we ever had. A nice distance to walk into Queenstown (even with a 2 year old in a pusher). If you like walking, you can walk to the gondola & go up for the Luge. Magic views from the lounge and main bedroom. Spotless and the staff willing to help with anything, they even lent us 2 toboggans to take up to The Remarkables. Modern facilities port-a-cot, high chair & stairwell gate to prevent the 2 year old from falling down the stairs or climbing the stairs. Very thoughtful. Super warm inside, considering how cold it was outside. Look forward to coming back here next time.

Good morning,
We have a heater in the lounge room downstairs together with a fireplace, which keeps the place nice and cozy. Upstairs we have a heater in the hallway, heated floors in the bathrooms and heated towel rails.

Most of them have the lake view. Pl tell them you are particular and they will accomadate. All the villas are lined up along the lake. Simply breathtaking. A few are on the other side that have other views. Don’t miss the lake view. All villas are on ground/first floor. No further height.
They are a great property. The best I liked.
