Great place to stay. We were a group of 10, 5 couples. Awesome location, with beautiful views. Nice places to eat and drink close by. Great amenities. We have stayed twice now in the last 3 months. I'm sure we will be back.

The Apartments are quiet, cozy and nice, with a fireplace that adds a nice atmosphere. Very suitable for family stay. Full kitchen facilities and great view to the Lake from the balcony.
The apartment is only 10 minutes drive the town center.
The manager is friendly and helpful.
We had great time staying there.

Booked a 6 bdrm apartment, in one room we found a pair of disgusting slippers under the bed, a pair of socks left inside the wardrobe, and a bath towel hanging behind the door.
Window latches gone off 2 windows and tv in second lounge didn't work. To their credit they did fix one window and taped the other shut - note, sellotape does not keep a window shut for long...
There are also no plugs to any of the bathroom sinks - it's pretty disgusting brushing your teeth and looking down the sinkhole at previous guests hair :(
We went for the 6 bdrm apartment so we could all be together (& also booked a 2 bdrm for extra family), I certainly paid a premium for this as we could have got a couple of 3 bdrm places for a lot less. I did expect it would be overall cleaner and nicer than what it actually was so was pretty disappointed. The bathroom items provided are basic and no facecloths provided. Only 2 dishwash cleans could be done with what was provided in kitchen. No coffee sachets except decaf, and while there was a hot choc tin, it was almost empty and I’m not using something that many others have stuck their hands in. The dining chairs fabric is disintegrating and bits of the white material end up all over the floor (we would have like to have vacuumed halfway thru our stay because of this but there was no vacuum cleaner or broom).
Nowhere on their website (that I found) did it say the apartment was over 3 levels – something my 75 year old mother did struggle with a bit, again this would have been a flag for us.
So overall, it was handy being together but the apartment seemed old and tired and really not worth the price we paid.
I did email the place to relay all my concerns, they have chosen not to reply to me.
I also see on their website they only have reviews that they have sourced from elsewhere (I can't leave this there direct) so they choose the good ones...

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment. It took a while to find as the road signs are not very clear. The apartment itself is very comfortable and well furnished. The main bathroom is very spacious and the deep bath and showers are great. The downside is that the car park is a long way from the apartment and quite a steep walk from car park back to the apartment. Also, the bedroom doors open onto the verandah which leads directly onto the footpath so it is not possible to have them open on a warm evening - security doors would be good.

We are just back from a really enjoyable 11 night winter stay at the penthouse with a family of 2 adults and 3 kids. The apartment was really spacious, had all the mod cons you would expect and need, including fantastic gas fireplaces which kept the place toasty, wall heaters and electric blankets etc and all the decor was to a high standard. There was really nothing you could ask more of. Satisfaction on a holiday usually comes down to the place you book matching expectations, especially when you are paying a decent price for it, and this place fully matches expectations. As for location, the Kawarau Village area has great amenities with cafes, restaurants and a ski shop (Browns provide excellent service and I highly recommend them over the other choices) and the Remarkables Village is a 5 min car ride over the river where you can get any shopping you need done for your stay. It is also very easy to head into Queenstown when you are after a bit more action (15 min easy car ride max) and it is less than 5 minutes to the entrance of the Remarkables ski road entrance which makes it really easy to head up at short notice. Overall a really enjoyable holiday

Selected this place because it suited my needs and for the period i was travlling at was hard to find a good place with good rates. This was one of the place i loved from looking at the pictures and i have stayed at the hiltons before so i thought it wont go wrong, despite the fact the price was very high. When i arrived, we had abit of difficulty of finding our apartment because they dont have a reception. They did have a contact number and once i called, a lady came to help us and she was very friendly and nice to talk to. Once we were in the room, it was love at first sight. The apartment was nicely set up, had everything you would need, even cooking oil, salt n pepper. Both rooms had own bathroom so the three of us didnt have to fight over the shower. The main room had a bath tub which my husband loved even more than what we have at home. Beds were very comfortable, the whole experience was great except one thing was that our apartment was by the drive way that goes down to the hiltons and we would hear every car drive pass and the apartment next to us were very noise when returned back and it was at 1am! Im a light sleeper, once awake very hard to go back to sleep! So if we go again,we will ask for one that the rooms are not facing the road.

We had a wonderful 4 bedroom 2 floor unit facing the lake- It is modern with a washer /dryer and comfy beds. Beware that kitchen/living/porch areas are smaller than they appear online, those areas were tight for 7 of us.
Location a little out of town was a blessing on busy New Years Eve! The parking is way down the hill so if walking uphill or distance to get a car is an issue might not work well for you.
The house keeping upon arrival was not great (stove dirty, no hand soap, no hot pads, hair in shower, ALL tv/vcr clickers not working, WiFi timed out ) but when we called response was very quick and helpful. Overall, a good choice especially for a family.

There was 10 of us good friends were going to book and stay in VillageQ, they had email us the quote, which we were happy and gathering the money at same time, 10days later after we receive the quote and before we were going to pay(we have collected all the money) they told us they have "Mistakenly" quote us the wrong amount, after all the trouble we have gone through, there was no apology at all from any of the staff, I am sure the place is nice, but the service ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH!
