Everything was clean, the rooms were comfortable and the location was great. The reception closes at 8pm so make sure you get everything you need (e.g. towels) before they close. We only stayed one night so we didn't make use of the kitchen or other facilities but it's definitely nice to have. The outdoor area is a great place to...

Nice room design. The lodge's layout is quite unique with easy access to washrooms and kitchen. Free WiFi is available around the clock and the connection is relatively stable. It is indeed a place I will return to with my siblings for another trip in Queenstown.

Despite our initial surprise (since we had understood that we had booked a room with an ensuite, which turned out not to be the case), we found Haka Lodge Queenstown a great place to stay. It was clean, compact and well-appointed, very conveniently placed to Queenstown amenities and was one of the best backpackers that we had stayed at! An...

I've stayed at Haka twice, each for just 1 night as I was passing through. It's clean, quiet and comfortable. Kitchens are stocked, beds are new and comfortable, and the staff is really friendly. The layout is really unique and fun, although it makes for narrow hallways which are snug with big backpacks and bags.

I was in town for the Queenstown Marathon and I chose Haka Lodge because it was so close to the Event Hub, as well as the rest of Queenstown. I found Haka Lodge to be very reasonably-priced for a private room. The amenities on-site were well-maintained and tidy, e.g. lounges, kitchens, bathrooms. And the staff were friendly, understanding, accommodating and...

I spent two nights at Haka Lodge during a recent visit to Queenstown, and was thoroughly impressed with the establishment. I left my first hostel at one night when availability opened up at Haka, and loved my time there. I stayed in a six-bed mixed dorm. Beds were solid wood, with power outlets, lights, and storage shelves - a great...

Great location, very friendly and helpful staffs, clean and well maintained place. Quiet and relaxing, which was exactly what I was looking for before my trekking. Space is very well utilised here so might feel slightly crammed sometimes. Couldn't find the key to kitchenette so had to skip a hot cup of tea before early leaving for my trekking but...
