Our room was conveniently placed on the ground floor with access to the car. Space was at a premium but the room had everything we needed. Shower was good. Basics were in the room and there was access to a kitchen if needed. parking was inadequate for the number of people in the night we were there.

Hubby and I stayed one night. Rooms were clean and well layed out. We were on ground floor and had outdoor table and chairs which doesn't get afternoon sun. Would I stay here again yes but would request a room on other side to make use of sun . Not far from center of queenstown or arrow town.

I stayed last week for 3 nights. Our first room wouldn't lock so we were moved to another room. The rooms were adequate but the location was a little further out of Queenstown than I realised. Nice and close to the jet boat if you have that planned though. The wifi was sporadic and quite often wouldn't work at all....

We really liked this place. Well located between Queenstown and Arrowtown. Big and clean room with balcony and beautiful views. Has also private parking. Staff was kind and helpful. Good value for money.

Really liked this place. Kind of felt like a cross between a backpackers (with communal kitchen and a night manager) and a hotel where each room seemed to have a ensuite and private balcony. Therefore it was like staying in a hotel only a lot cheaper (Queenstown in usually crazy expensive but staying here cost us less than we would...

We enjoyed our stay at Shotover. The place is a great escape from hustle and bustle of the town centre as it is about 15 mins away. It was surprisingly convenient although we didn't hire a car during our visit. Bus stop going to the city and Arrowtown is just outside the lodge. You just need to plan ahead your...

Very standard motel room. If you want something that screams I'm in Queenstown then this is not it, but if you want a comfortable place to crash after a long day and or night then this is a good cheap(er) option. Across the road from the Onsen hot pools which were fantastic, the shot over jets, and a $25 set...

We booked it for 12 of us thinking it sounded interesting with trails and scenic landscape. Its on a big highway. Most of our rooms were ok, but our room reeked of smoke (room 203). When we asked the front desk, they said they were full, and sent someone up stairs with a spray. When I asked the man if...

Satisfying enough place, except no fans or air conditioning so the room got really hot and no gauze on the windows to keep out flies and mosquitos. Also the layout is like a scene from The Shining, very hard to navigate the many corridors and the top floor gets ridiculously hot, get some ventilation or something! Finally the balconies are...
