Perfect location to explore Queenstown, as the place is located right int he middle of the town and the lake is just 2 mins walk towards the back alley. The staff was very friendly and helpful to guide us. Accommodation was very comfortable, we opted for a private room, but it you are travelling alone or on budget you can...

This hostel is just around the corner from the Lake and on the main street with shops and restaurants galore. I chose it because of it's closeness to the bus drop off and was very happy I did. As a senior solo traveller I wasn't too thrilled with all the stairs to carry my suitcase up and in fact left...

We stayed in a private ensuite room with lake view for 2 nights on March 1 and 2. had to park the car on the street a little further away. Heavy fines for parking in no park zones as can be expected in busy cities. When we drove in, we went to the lake front hostel by mistake and had...

I stayed in a 5 bed female only dorm. The room was great, well kept and clean. The staff were helpful, I was able to book a tour and they happily chatted me through my decision, they were even nice when i forgot the code to get back in on St Patrick's day (sorry!!). Facilities were good. I loved the...

This hostel was in a great location. It was right in the city center and close to all attraction and restaurants. The rooms were very clean and the bathrooms were too. The bathrooms were in each room, which was convenient. I would stay here again.

Three is a bit harsh. It's probably more of a 3.5. First figure out your travel needs. Then read this review. It should be pretty clear then if this is the best option for you. It's got a really great location slap bang in the centre of town. Its literally a short stroll to most places you might want to...

Hi there - thank you for your comments. It is great to read that you generally enjoyed our hostel and its awesome location. Our staff work hard to create a comfortable and clean environment for our guests. I am sorry that you had to move rooms during your stay, we do our best to avoid this, however given the time...

Couldn't believe our luck when we scored this double room... i.e. two rooms joined together with a Queen in one room and a double in the other. It has a kitchenette which we didn't use incl fridge, couch, tv etc... but also a large patio with seats overlooking the main street. We sat outside with a glass of wine in...

This hostel is in a great location, right in the centre of town and easy walking distance to most of the top things to do in Queenstown. We had a private double room with en suite. Room was very clean, a bit small but did have wardrobe, desk and TV which most don't. Shower was rubbish, I think the tap...

Kia Ora Nicola- thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry that you had an issue with your shower facility. This is a problem that has been caused by the algae in the lake and has affect water pressure all over Queenstown- we are working closely with our plumber to find a solution as quickly as possible. Otherwise I'm glad to...

We are not used to staying in backpacker hostels, but stayed in 8 on this trip. Compared with the one we stayed in prior to this it was luxury. We had a private en-suite room well kitted out including a kettle, a TV, towels, soap, drawers and a wardrobe. There was both a double bed and a single in the...
