Pretty central. I had double room with TV, shared bathroom- was clean and tidy and of adequate size. Check in was quick, free soup and hot tub - pretty random. Overall a nice place for the money. Off the main road so fairly quite, lots of pubs within a short walk.

Nice spot close to Town, we found some of the other people staying at the accommodation a bit noisy. Kitchen and eating area was very small and dirty. Car parking wasn't the easiest, but the beds were comfortable.

Clean bed, busy main kitchen but found another very quiet one less well equipped but space to cook. Bathrooms are ok but not much more than average. OK stay specially if you haven't booked ahead of time. This place also has a free hot tub which I haven't tried and free unlimited wifi, which at least for me didn't quite... More

Everythings is good in the hostel but the staff is not that good manners. A girl which is in the reception when we want to check in is not friendly. When i want to ask more and more information she seems like not willing to answer. Is this as a reception to be? The reception is always empty no one... More

I was recommended to stay by my brother who'd been years before me, I loved this place so much I stayed for the whole winter. It's always warm in the winter and just buzzing in the summer it had the most amazing atmosphere I could live there for ever

Stayed in the four person dorm, which was nice and fairly secluded. The location of the hostel is very good, close to town, but not too close that it is noisy. Free popcorn and soup were a nice touch. Did not stay for very long, but felt welcome.

Good value hostel with great facilities (free WiFi, soup, popcorn, spa). I had twin room, which was clean and comfortable with heater. (Would benefit from a chair or 2). Shared bathroom basic but OK. Location fantastic as very close to town centre and Skyline

Stayed in a private room, very tiny, 8 by 8 feet. Plus: -friendly staff - free soup each night and popcorn Minus: - the common areas (hallways, lounge, kitchen, bathroom) are not clean. To the defence of the hostel, it is due in part to the guests that don't tidy up after themselves. - I got food stolen from the... More

We stayed here for 5 nights recently. There were a lot of positives about the hostel but unfortunately some of the other guests let it down slightly... Positives: Really nice staff (especially the two guys with long hair!); rooms were clean; all the freebies - DVDs, soup (which was really tasty!), spa pool etc.; the WiFi was really good; the... My boyfriend and I stayed here for nine nights at the end of a seven week trip around NZ and were really happy. Alex on reception was a delight and couldn't have been more helpful. The free soup every night and Chilli/BBQ on a Monday is tasty and the little spa pool is a great treat. We stayed in a... More
