In the BBH folder this hostel got a 81%. So we expected a good hostel. Unfortunately this was not the case. We slept in our own tent so can´t say anything about the rooms. But we used the kitchen, living room and ‘’free wifi’’. Free wifi is written in the folder but what you get is 100 mb wifi. And...

It's actually pretty alright. The place looks a bit old, especially the bathroom but it's comfortable enough. The beds are a bit stiff though. Quieter than most other places as it's 10 min away from the center. The view is better then, obviously, right to the lake. There are better hostels for the same price, but this one is pretty...

This was the last place my girlfriend and I stayed during our trip to Queenstown. It's a little further out of town but still only a 10 minute walk down the hill. It is a very quiet and quaint little backpackers, there are not enough rooms for it to be too noisy or over-crowded. We were only meant to stay...

Nice rooms, very clean and tidy. Kitchen was well equipped, bit crowded at peak times. Loved the amazing views. Atmosphere wasn't super friendly among the other guests, but were happy with each others company.

This lodge was perfect for Queenstown. It is about 10 minute walk from the centre which means it is nice and quiet at night. Given that its up the hill out of town the decking looks out over the Remarkables and the lake and you could spend all evening just taking in the scenery. There is a good mix of...

This is a small little place about a 15 minute walk from the centre with gorgeous views and lovely staff. We chose a double room which had amazing views of the lake! The kitchen has lots of dishes and pans and even has herbs and spices to cook with. Everything was kept clean and it wasn't noisy at night. Stay...

One of the best hostels we stayed in. My sister and I had a twin room, heater and extra blankets were in the room. The main lounge/kitchen was warm and cosy with a stunning view on the lake. All common areas were super clean and tidy. Other guests were lovely and Jimmy the cat likes cuddles. :) Owner was friendly...

We had a great experience at Butterfli Lodge. Our twin room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. We had requested an upstairs room based on reviewers comments and I think this was a wise choice. The staff we encountered were friendly and super-helpful. The communal area, including kitchen is small and as we went out for dinner we didn't have...

We travelled as a group of 6 to Queenstown and stayed 3 nights at the Butterfli lodge, the beds were comfy, the rooms nice and the view was amazing. Unfortunately there were a few let downs. "Free wifi" was only 100mb per person which only lasted about an hour and was $10 to recharge. Hot water ran out one night...

Initially, my boyfriend and I planned on staying at the Butterfli Lodge while we were visiting Queenstown. We called and booked a private double bed room. We told the woman on the phone that we were possibly going to stay two nights but only committee to the first night. THANK GOD. The Bufferfli Lodge is backpacker style, so the private...
