Nestled on the shotover river is this idealic homestead which comprises of bed and breakfast, apartment and cottage units. This place in truly stunning. The property is layed out in the classic stone cottage with wood trimmings, all the mod cons of home are here for an amasing stay. We certainly had one. I stayed at the property 37 years...

We loved our stay at CHerry Tree lodge which is a cottage you can rent at Trelwan Place. The view from the terrace was amazing - the web-site photos don't capture how epic it is. The cottage itself was beautiful with an amazing double jacuzzi bath and there was an outside spa tub you could also use which looked down...

My husband, 18 year old son and I stayed in the Cherry Tree House at Trelawn Place for three nights in early January. We can't say enough about how beautiful our cottage and the entire estate are. The view of the Shotover River is breathtaking (the speedboats that cruised through every 10 or 15 minutes reminded us that we were...

This location was by far the most beautiful of the 8 lodging places we stayed at in New Zealand. The beauty extended in every direction. Unfortunately, if you are allergic to dogs, or don't like to smell strong urine odors inside, this may not be the place for you. If those don't bother you, this is an absolutely fantastic hideaway...

We stayed in one of the standalone cottages and we ran short on superlatives when raving about this to our friends. The cottages are charming - historically styled and very comfortable, even in the worst of weather. The gardens are impeccable and the view is breathtaking, and the incongruity of the English-style gardens looking into a gaping chasm part of...

Spent just over a week here and could not have been happier. The views and gardens are beautiful and its a great place to relax and if you want to be in town its a five minute drive. Its also a stones throw away from the Shotover jet boats. The owners/ hosts Nery, Michael and their corgis made me feel...

We stayed in the Cherry Tree cottage, a self-contained A-frame unit with bedroom upstairs. Very cosy, & comfortable, with great deck that looks out over the Shotover river, trees, mountains. Beautiful views. Nice place for relaxing, or as a base for exploring the area. Nery & Michael were great hosts, and made wonderful breakfasts. A warm friendly environment. We enjoyed...

Hard to rate as the grounds and setting are great but some big disadvantages, inside. Lovely to get outside the bustle of Queenstown and sit in such a beautiful location by the river. Only 10 minutes outside however, so easy access to the buzz if you want it. Plenty outside seating areas so even if the properties are all occupied,...

We spent 3 nights in the cottage. It has beautiful views towards the mountains and overlooks a river. The cottage has a supremely comfortable bed and is well equipped. We were given super breakfasts in the main house, which enabled us to have interesting chats with our hosts. A truly memorable stay!

A beautiful place in a beautiful location. Quiet and secluded with fantastic views. Michael and Nery were friendly and accomodating. Michael saved us by bringing our forgotten luggage to the airport! We wouldn't look anywhere else to stay for our next Queenstown trip.
