I had a good sized room on the ground floor with a French window onto a small terrace overlooking the garden (no view). The shower room was a reasonable size and it had a walk in disabled shower. There was an iron, ironing board, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and good hairdryer. I had dinner in the bar and...

We stayed two nights in a room with fantastic view across lake. Nice bar and restaurant, hotel layout a bit confusing, but we got used to it. Staff could not have been more helpful when we needed advice on trips and activities. Ans we were able to leave car in the private car park (for a small fee) and our...

Great hotel and convenient too! Stayed for one night and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Beds are comfy and the shower was good. If you sign up to be a member you get a discount if you book on their website. Didn't get a chance to try the facilities. Would definitely stay here again next time I visit.

I stayed at the Copthorne many years ago. Not much has changed. In fact the hotel is certainly due for an upgrade. The front desk was well staffed and polite. I had great sleep due to the low noise levels experienced. The rooms facing the lake have fantastic unobstructed views. But the shower is horrible. Being 6'4 I had no...

Thank You Ben for your review . I shall pass on your kind comments to our staff . I am sorry to hear your room did not live up to your expectations and understand regarding the shower for a person of your height. We do have rooms with stand up showers which we can offer you on your next visit....

We stayed for one night at this hotel, The room we allocated was the furthest from reception but it was worth the walk. We had an excellent view of the lake. There was no air conditioning but opening the windows was sufficient. The room was reasonable size and the beds OK. There was a balcony outside the bar but this was...

So I stayed there for a night in a garden view room and paid $290 for a garden view room. There was no view at all since we were given a room almost at the rear of the garden and all I saw was the parking area. room was very hot and I was surprised that such an expensive room...

Hotel is situated on a steep hill leading down to the Lake and had nice lake views from the bar and restaurant. The rooms are situated in three interconnected blocks. Our room was well appointed but a bit tired looking. We had a small balcony that fronted on to the street at the side of the hotel running down to...

Thank you for your review. I'm sorry you were not offered free daily wifi which is available to all our guests. We appreciate your feedback on Credit Card charges and also regarding parking;, many guests do find it increasingly difficult to find parking and this is a service we provide our guests to provide secure parking . Thank you again...

We booked the Copthorne as I've stayed here previously and found it's location to be perfect - close to the town but not amongst the thick of it all. We were greeted and checked in by a lovely receptionist and directed to our room. The rooms are fairly well appointed however you immediately notice the heat. There was a small...

Thank you for taking the time to post a review Scott, and happy to hear you enjoyed the spa. At this time of year Queenstown can be quite warm and I am sorry to hear this was too warm for you with out air conditioning. I value your feedback and regarding our restaurant, I shall follow up on this. I...

We stayed in a junior suite with a lake view and it was wonderful to wake up to such a beautiful view every morning. The front desk staff was friendly and our check in and check out was efficient. The location is convenient and just a short walk from town centre. It was also just across the street from the...

Nice rooms (1255 and 1257) with lake view, but place is a bit a warren to find rooms. Average standard for room (bed, bathroom). No tissues. Good breakfast but wait till coach parties have gone -8.30 should be fine.
