Had a 1st floor room overlooking the lake (once you got past the ugly 2 metre high plywood boarding across the road). The room was small for motel style accommodation and the bathroom was basic. The shower head was unadjustable so water tended to go everywhere. There was no AC or fan, so to get the room anywhere near cool,...

I stayed in a garden view room which had a pleasant outlook but no major view. The room was not large but quite well equipped and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was small and very awkward. Not particularly accessible for unloading luggage from a car ( and the steps after just coming off the Hump ridge track were a...

Our room was modern and clean, with just enough space for 2. We had a good view of the lake from the balcony in front. The staff were friendly and helpful. Best of all, we had a parking place, which are hard to come by in crowded Queenstown. We could leave the car and walk into town.

We spent Christmas in Queenstown and had a wonderful 4 night stay at this lodge. The room includes a kitchenette with a small fridge. There is a communal guest kitchen with a larger fridge, a 2-element cooktop and oven. There is additional dishes & cutlery to replace the ones in your room (guest rinse and put their dirty ones in...

Central to the city's center, Lomond Lodge is about 10mins walk to the gondola (which is literally the next street over) and 10mins walk to the lake. Rooms are really nice and comfortable. Bed was big and comfy. Room had a kitchen/sink, breakfast amenities and a big bathroom. Very happy with our stay. Pros + Super close to the lake,...

Comfy bed, nice balcony provided with two chairs with spectacular view on Lake and mountains. Ask for Lake view! Room provided with fridge, watercooker (coffee and tea) and tableware. Good system of putting your used cups, glasses and plates (own breakfast) in dishwasher in common kitchen and take fresh tableware from the cupboard to your room again. Great location, friendly...

Lomond Lodge was one of our favourite places to stay during our two-week road trip across NZ. It is conveniently located up a step of stairs, just moments to the town, restaurants, bars, cafes, the lake, and everything you can think of in Queenstown. It's also a few minutes walk away from the path leading up to the summit view...
