We stayed 2 nights at the lodge. Rooms were clean and well appointed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I was able to use laundry facilities with help from staff. Breakfast included freshly baked pastries. Susie, was very warm and caring. The lodge was walking distance to downtown, however uphill going back. We would stay there again.

I stayed here for two nights. The location was perfect, just up the hill from town so it was nice and quiet at night. Breakfast was included, they had a nice assortment of cereals, yogurt, meat and cheeses. The rooms were a good size and very comfortable.

We were pleasantly surprised with the first rate level of comfort and guest-service during our stay. At the time the surrounding mountains were snow covered and it was actually freezing at night, so a bit too cold to enjoy the little terrace outside our room, but the views of the lovely garden and the lake in the distance were awesome....

I have never felt so comfortable and welcome as I did at Melbourne Lodge. A spacious yet cozy room with our own rose garden to sit in! We had a king room and it was lovely. Bathroom was newly renovated, plenty of luggage storage, desk space and a sitting area. They think of everything in the room, tea, coffee, wine...

A really nice place to stay! Just 10 minutes into town, lovely views of the sunset, and a really nice room! I was a bit worried about shared bathrooms but it felt so homely and had no problem with shower waits etc! (In fact I never waited once for the toilet or shower). Breakfast was also good, lots of cereals,...

We chose Melbourne lodge for its proximity to everything we were looking at, but were also happy with the staff, room service and other facilities there, like guest room overlooking lake and mountains

Really good stay here. The room was clean, comfortable and warm and had a balcony with a mountain view. There was some overnight snowfall so I woke up to snow capped mountains. The bathroom was modern - excellent shower pressure. Staff were friendly. Continental buffet breakfast was included and staff would come around to see if anyone wanted coffee/toast. It's...

The Melbourne Lodge is an excellent accomodation option in Queenstown. The rooms are newly renovated, very clean and have all you would expect from a hotel stay. What makes this an excellent option though was the service. The breakfast was basic, but plentiful..the staff each morning went out of their way to ensure all the guests were happy. We arrived...
