I was left with 3 extra days in Queenstown at the last minute and the King Private room here was the cheapest option available. I read about and was aware of the wifi issues and bar noises but decided to book anyway because I had no choice. When the lady at the reception said to me 'you have a king...

This hostel had a great location. It was fairly clean for the most part. It was rather noisy, I would recommend asking reception for ear plugs, they supply them. There is no free wifi and the wifi in the lobby and kitchen is awful. I couldn't connect the entire time I was there for some reason. My room was really...

The hostel itself is in a fantastic location close to the lake, right next to all of the restaurants and bars, absolutely everything was in walking distance. We had an ensuite room, it was very spacious, clean and modernised, and it was reasonable value considering it was the Christmas holidays. Our room was above a bar/ restaurant so it was...

Only stayed a night here but the facilities were modern, clean and of a really high standard for a backpackers. Staff were friendly and very helpful. I was impressed with the level of security in the building, especially in the late hours. Only drawback was that the walls weren't as soundproof as I would have liked them to have been....

Hey Thanks for taking the time to leave your review. Unfortunately with our central location some of the bars can be a bit loud. We do offer free earplugs at reception, and our 24 hour reception staff can pop around to those bars to chat to them about the noise if it is going on too long. We have free...

Outstanding facilities and fantastic staff. The quality of our stay was awesome. We had a private room for two and paid a fraction of the price you would pay elsewhere, with one of the best stays I've ever had. The only thing lacking was laundry facilities, but there was a coin laundry just down the road.

Staff are so friendly and my Private room is classic and clean and value for money. Best budget wise. Also close to several stores as this is a small town, everything would less than 5 minutes walk and they have own Travel agency at ground floor.

I was only here overnight, returning from an out-of-town excursion and flying out the next day, so I did not experience any of the community. However my room was very comfortable and well equipped and the staff were helpful and very quick to respond over email when I had a question after booking a month before my arrival. I stayed...

We booked our double room in advance and paid 110 aud for it. The room was not cleaned properly, had no windows and the air con smelled. There was music playing loud in the hallway at night. The last drop for me was that even though washing machine costs 4nzd you still had to pay extra for the washing powder....

Hi, Thank you for your feedback, and I apologise that you didn't enjoy our experience with us. Our double rooms are interior rooms in the hostel with just the small sky light, unfortunately due to the shape of our building not all rooms will have balconies. We haven't had any feedback on air con being off in any rooms, I...
