Our family group of 4 stayed here 2 nights in November. Our hosts Shirley and Barry couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. In fact, they went above and beyond with their service, information, complimentary wine and delicious hot breakfasts, cooked to order no less! In addition to the wonderful hosts, the highlight of this B&B is the amazing view... More

The B&B is run by the lovely hosts Shirley and Barry. Place is clean, comfortable, quiet with a million-dollar view. Plenty of breakfast options and good quality homemade food. Just a 10-min walk to town (20 min walk or 10$ taxi back). Hands down one of the best B&B out there.

This is hands down the best B&B I've ever stayed in. It's a short walk into town and sits on a quiet street overlooking the lake. From the living room and my room I had stunning views of the lake. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Shirley & Barry are wonderful hosts and do everything to make you feel at home.... More

Staying here for a total of 5 nights in a beautiful room, king bed and huge picture windows throughout including bedrooms. Lodge is up on hill - and out of the hustle of Q'town - overlooking Lake Wakatipu and toward the Remarkables. View is really incredible. Shirley and Barry are delightful hosts and serve a proper delicious hot breakfast. Would... More

We are here for honeymoon and stay in Hikutangi Lodge. It locates on the top of the hill and you have a breathtaking view from anywhere in the house, of course your room as well. We love the breakfast served from Shirley and Barry who are the hosts and love playing the card game with them. I have a lovely... More

My wife and I stayed here for 2 days right after Christmas. Shirley and Barry are incredible hosts and are both very entertaining! The views from the rooms is phenomenal. There is one bathroom that is shared between the two rooms but we were the only guests. Breakfast was great, the best we experienced in New Zealand. Definitely the place... More

Stayed here for a weekend. Shirley and Barry are fantastic hosts. Arrived and had home made shortbread and coffee. Amazing views from the rooms. Shirley ensured that our stay here was memorable. Every fine detail she addressed; including home made cookies on our arrival, fresh fruit from the garden; gorgeous home made food, and organising travel arrangements to Gantley's restaurant. We will be excited to re-book at Hikurangi Lodge on our next visit to Queenstown.
