Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had a spacious studio without any view in the ground floor corner of the building. Supposedly with garden view, but it was located in a corner without any sunlight coming in, so rather cold. We had to put on heating although outside it was perfect weather. The patio has a table and uncomfortable chairs. Appliances were old and rickety, making lots of noise, but washing machine and dryer were new. Breakfast was provided in form of plastic bag with some toast, juice, jam. Check-in was smooth. Location just off Queenstown’s main street is unbeatable. All in all we had a good stay though.

Overall the location of the apartments is amazing. Lots of space within our room for our kids to move around. The room was warm upon entry which was a nice touch. More attention to detail on clean would have made the stay excellent, including washing all the dishes.

The room was clean, but the windows and net curtains were mouldy. The room smelt like mould but was over powered by freshener which was sickening. We had to turn the fridge off so we could sleep, the bed was comfortable. Never saw any staff, no one in reception just called a phone number and he told me which room we were in. Reception was closed when we left.

Booked through booking.com, and when NZ went into virus lockdown was offered a free cancellation, which of course I accepted as impossible to travel. However despite this the hotel still charged for the stay, the day after the cancellation was made - and since then has refused to refund this citing various excuses not to pay the money taken back to booking.com and never replying to direct emails. If you promise to not charge, than that is what should happen! I would highly recommend choosing anywhere else in Queenstown other than this if you value your money or any form of customer service. Thankfully, booking.com have the back of people booking with them - rather than the hotel management here.

This is advertised falsely as a “luxury” apartment, it is anything but. We stayed in a 3bed apartment there was left over food in the kitchen from previous guests from god knows when. The walls all have poorly repaired holes in them the windows walls and ceilings are mouldy including black mould in the bathroom/laundry that also has no extractor fan. There are no smoke alarms in the building in our room all that remained was a bracket on the wall. The ceilings appear to be asbestos based and have been disturbed by some attempt at scrubbing particularly I. The bedroom. The carpet and couches were stained badly and the dining room chairs were all broken. Hotel management is pathetic part of our party got trapped in the lift they were not helpful at all and in the end after two hours I had call the fire brigade so they would get the lift technician to help. We were offered not even an apology. I have had to contact the council regarding the safety and hygiene of this building and also FENz regarding the complete lack of fire safety.
Do not stay here honestly a night in the car would have been superior.

I don't like paying for parking, especially when I'm being charged $300 a night to stay at a property. Being gauged an extra $15 a night is just ridiculous. And this is exactly how I was greeted when checking in.
The property is run down and in need of lots of TLC. The room was warm and spacious, but the general state of things, like the kitchen, and laundry facilities just let this place down. The washing machine smelt of mould, the dryer, sounded like a jet engine taking off. The fridge door didn't close, the freezer was frozen, the cutlery and cups weren't up to a service apartment standard. There were holes in the doors from not having door stops. The toilets seats moved and were garbage....the list goes on.
Would I stay here again? No. Would I recommend this apartment to others? No.
The only plus was the location.

Beds comfortable with clean linen. Furnishings, decor etc totally run-down with tiny hot water cylinder. Although the location is great, there is only parking for one vehicle (cost) and public parking is very limited, a long distance away. This property needs a total upgrade!

Stayed here 1 night, booked and paid for balcony apartment with mountain views via booking.com but was given ground floor unit with a view of the wall. Staff just didn't care. Place is getting rundown and maintenance appears non-existent.
Bathroom was damp with water damaged cabinetry, window seals were falling out, electrical appliances test date expired 2017 - I could go on.
Should have looked more closely at the current reviews as several mention similar.
Some even had their booking cancelled at the last minute so at least we got ours.
The location is very convenient BUT the accomodation is at the budget level despite being advertised as 'luxury'.
We will not stay here again!

I would not recommend this place. Unit was ver average. Lounge seating very uncomfortable. A tiny television screen maybe a 25 inch! Shower pressure was inadequate and got burned when someone else in the unit turned a tap on. Only given 2 towels for 2 people, so no ability to freshen up!
My partner had a bleed b the sheets when he knocked a healing scab. We took the sheets off the bed, they took them away but never made the bed or replaced the sheets!!! Expecting us to sleep on a bed with no linen! Over $700 for 2 nights

Booked a 2 bedroom apartment, lucky we were one family. We got a loft for the kids upstairs and a bedroom downstairs with a broken door handle.
Didn’t come with washer laundry, which was one of the main reasons we booked. However could use the hotel one, but they would charge for the dryer use.
Rooms are dirty and outdated. We found empty beer cans, other guest ski passes and empty packets of stuff under everything. No room service except change of towels and bins emptied.
The shower was weak, after a ski day and just wanting a hot shower, it was hot but more like a dribble out of the hose. Room heater would keep the place warm compared to outside but will still need to wear a jumper etc, the electric blanket did compensate for that though.
Besides the location it left little to be desired.

Ours had but given the varying description of quality by visitors, I suspect not all apartments are equally equipped or maintained. Suggest that if you book, make it clear you need one.
