Staff walked into my Room at 10:30pm turned on the lights and then started giving guests a fairly loud run down of the features of their beds, which was completely uneccessary, this went on for about 15mins as they made general chit chat, while myself...More

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, however we are a little confused. Staff checked the 6 beds quickly before turning the lights on and saw only one person, who was awake and on a lap top. One bed was not booked...More
Travelled quite a bit and this is definitely one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in! From the very start they are very personal; they welcome you with a little message on your dorm room and everyone gets their own name tag to...More
We're in our 30s, we stayed here as husband and wife, we had the best time! The staff are amazing - so friendly and professional. No one treated us any differently even though most were 10 years younger than us! Everyone staying (seasonaires and punters...More

Hi, and thanks for your question and your interest in our little hostel! Because she's 13, your daughter would not be permitted to stay in a shared room (that is, one of our dorm-style rooms). Guests staying in these rooms must be 17 or older. However, as an alternative, you could check out our sister hostel Adventure Queenstown Hostel. They have 4 bed shared rooms available (we have only 6 bed shared rooms). If you were to book all 4 beds in a 4 bed shared room, then that room would be considered "private" and there is no minimum age in that case. Have a look at the AQ website and please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions or concerns.
