Stayed for 4 nights, it was close to town, very walkable, requires a brief uphill walk coming back. We had a car, we only used it going to Frankston for bigger grocery shop and the gym we preferred. Staff were lovely, we requested housekeeping once, they did a very good job, refilled things, and noticed the things we needed for our stay based on kitchen use (all the essentials supplied). Parking was onsite and easy (enter closest to reception, exit other side). Onsite laundry was very useful. Apartment size spacious, we would stay here again. Thankyou

What a wonderful trip, and this cozy apartment! Our family of three chose a two-room apartment, which was divided into two floors, and we were on the lower floor. The overall hygiene is very good, and with a courtyard, you can see the stars and the distant skyline at night, it is a very ideal choice, and the service is very warm! Thank you very much to our caretaker, she was beautiful, warm and generous, and made a wonderful addition to our trip. Highly recommended!

Thank you to Cora and the team as they were excellent. They were very extremely helpful and certainly made our week long stay very comfortable and enjoyable. The linens and towels were lovely with nice shampoos etc. Kitchen well kitted out. I would recommend at least a Mountain view room as these are upstairs with a balcony, the downstairs face the car parking area. There are two bed apartments but I cannot comment on those. Whilst some reviews have commented on the rooms being a little dated, and I wouldn’t disagree however, that should be considered against the cost of the apartment compared with other Queenstown properties. We found it excellent value overall.

This accommodation was in a nice central location (although requires a hike up a moderately steep hill every time you walk to the lake or shops). The rooms are quite outdated, but you get what you pay for. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The rooms are serviced daily, though we found this wasn’t happening until late in the afternoon, which was inconvenient as that was generally the time we returned after being out for the day. I also feel they could change sheets for frequently. We were there just over a week and the sheets weren’t changed at all during our stay.

Room Tip:There is a laundry on site, takes $2 coins. If you want a lake view, this really isn’t the place...

We booked a Mountain View room and we were not disappointed! The street was under construction but it did not impede access or our views. We were very surprised at how large the rooms were, with a comfortable front/living room space and a large bathroom. It was just my husband and myself so we used the extra twin bed for our bags. There was a small stand alone closet and one luggage rack for use. The breakfast basket was lovely with bread, granola bars, muffins, yogurt, packaged fruit smoothies and apples. Very quiet despite proximity to a chain hotel and the many skiers in town on holiday. It’s a short walk to town and the main area is quite compact so we always elected to walk. Others have noted “the hill” on the way back up. It is steep but fairly short. The room was clean and warm. The tub was a bit high to step into but I’m finding that to be the standard here. Very happy with our stay. Would definitely recommend!

I wish I could say more good things about this place, but I will only say that their location is alright, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the room was of a decent size. Depending on which room you get, you can get a pretty nice view of the alps during daylight hours. Price point was pretty standard during the period of my stay. These were the main reasons why I booked this place.
The room really did not look as nice as was advertised. The pictures that were shown on their website depicted a very bright and airy room, but upon entering it felt cold and dark. The room was very dated, and the furniture looked very run down too. The carpet in my room was broken, which caused me to nearly trip over as I was entering the room. The bed was very lumpy, and I didn't really get a single good night's sleep.
In such a competitive city, travellers are spoilt for choice for places to stay. For their own sake, I really hope they get a proper makeover to put themselves in better light.

We paid 3 200 NZD for 7 days !! . 2 bedroom appartments. Size of appartment was ok. We got a warm welcome from the reception, it was most probably the owner (seems to be owned by a family). the location is really good, but it offer almost no view, especially us who were at ground floor (only 2 storeys). The appartement is old but clean. Service every second day whcih is good. Main problem there is the price (probably linked with the shortage of accommodation in QT at the time (and almost everywhere anyway), but definitely a ripp off in term of price. The main problem is that I agreed to book there based on a few fake photos that are on their booking.com site. There is no way the nicest photos have been taken at this property ! no way ! I had a look at the other units, and checked the view.. you can easily say they are fake. that's the bitter part of the stay, if you consider the price..

For the price, it was very overrated and disappointing. When you entered the apartment, the rugs were terribly stained and appeared dirty. The furniture was cheap and not very comfortable. The beds were the saving grace; they were comfortable and the sheets were crisp and clean. The location was a 15 minute walk and you had to be in good shape to make it uphill back to the apartment. The bedrooms were small, but that might be normal for Queenstown. The apartment had no oven, dishwasher, clothes washer, or dryer. It had a microwave (with one dish to use), and a 2-burner stove top. We would not recommend this to friends.

I stayed in a spacious and simple one bedroom unit, just a few minutes walk from the bustle of Queenstown central and yet on a really quiet street.
The unit was spotlessly clean and came with everything I needed for basic self-catering. The breakfast supplies (bread, jams, juice, yoghurts) and snacks (muffins, muesli bars) were a delightful surprise and set me up well for days of walking in the mountains.
This isn't the flashiest place in Queenstown but is in a super-convenient location, had everything I needed for a 3 night stay and was really good value for money.

Yes, Walker and Bob are right. No air-condition. They have a fan. Generally, the weather in Queenstown are just nice without aircon in spring and autumn. It is part of the experience of letting the clean air in. But you might want to check on summer's temperature.
