We had a standard room, which was a reasonable size with a clean and modern shower / toilet area (no bath). The complex is a converted building that was the old Post Office, and the ceilings are very high which gives a sense of space. The room had a good size refrigerator, with a full size sink. There was no...

The room was small, compact and not all that comforetable for two people.Beds comfortable but narrow. It was clean and had amenties but not not really a room to relax in and move around freely without tripping over a suitcase or chair. On the positive side it was handy to the shops, restaurants, had an elevator and was quiet.

I am not sure if we were the only occupants at the time, but it was eerily quiet. The building was originally the main post office and is very old. The rooms are comfortable but the grimy windows were certainly a let down. Staff were friendly and helpful.

They were super helpful. We had some confusion over my booking but they made it very smooth. Will definitely go back. Rooms were very clean and it was close to all good cafes. Quality of amenities in the room was very nice. Overall really good place to stay.

Centrally located hotel apartment and nice comfortable room. Friendly check in staff even when they originally couldnt find our booking as it was only booked 20 hours before arriving. Nice room with fairly good kitchenette etc. the only grumble was the extra duvet in the cupboard looked like it could do with a clean.

Having previously stayed at a Quest in Wellington, I was excited for our stay in Invercargill. This Quest however was different - older style decor and in need of some TLC. Ripped curtain in the room, squeaky floors, missing numbers on one of the rooms' doors, strange banging noises inside the wall which we think was caused by the heater...

Quest looks like an old hotel from a bygone era but it has been tastefully redecorated and is very comfortable and warm. The odd squeaky floorboard adds to its charm. All the fittings in the room I had were modern, very comfortable bed, good shower, no complaints about the standard of the room.

It is certainly not the worst place I have ever stayed, the rooms were clean, the bed comfortable and the staff friendly. I would have liked to see a bit more kitchen equipment as I like to cook a meal - difficult with just a few bowels and pots. The remote didn't work in the bedroom but the staff took...
