The motel is located on a main road leading north out of the city and is thus easy to find. It is about 2km out of the centre and is on a bus route. There is a small supermarket nearby and restaurants and a bigger supermarket are within 1km. Reception staff was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We had a very... More

I have to say these guys helped us out of a tight spot! We were telephoned at 5 pm by our, what we thought was our accommodation to tell they had overbooked and we had no where to stay. I rang at least 20 places and asked the same motels etc These guys came to the rescue. Hotel was 1970s... More

The staff- the lady seemed quite annoyed all the time whenever I would ask about something while the man was very very friendly! The place was quite old fashioned. The sink taps had separate hot and cold ones so I could not wash my face with warm water, and the shower head was attached to the wall which was very... More

This motel is comfortable and spacious, but somewhat tired. It has a good convenient location near Otago Uni and a 15 minute walk to the octagon. It was incredibly clean and the staff were most friendly and obliging. Everything you would need for a short trip was provided. As a light sleeper, I did find the night time traffic and... More

Close to shops and restaurants with a 24 hour convenience store located just across the road. Staff was helpful with assisting us with local tour queries and To... More

My studio room was surprisingly spacious, comfortable and everything worked well. Yes, the carpet and arm chairs could have been more modern but everything was spotlessly clean and for the rice it was much better than I expected. The staff were friendly and helpful.

This place hasn't been updated since the 70s. My room stinks of cheap disinfectant, the heater is busted and the bed should have been replaced a decade ago. Eastern block quality furnishings and carpeting. No washing machine, exercise gear, aircon or SCREENS to get fresh air.

For $115 per night we were not expecting the Hilton. The studio room had everything we required, self catering with room to put up a portacot. We got more than enough room and the kitchen was well equipped, and everything was extremely clean. Plenty of parking and the shop across the road was handy for a late night ice-cream run.... More
