Joyce, Dave and their Woofers were very welcoming and helpful. Great breakfasts and great advice on where to visit. Lovely quiet place to stay but only minutes into the city. Our room had an ensuite and was newly renovated.

Dunedin City is friendly, historical, full of character, and quirky (among many other very favourable descriptions). Atop a steep road (which is almost anywhere in Dunedin), sits a two storey B & B, where one can experience all the described Dunedin’s attributes in one location. Upon arrival, you are very warmly greeted by Joyce and (sometimes) Dave, with the same...

Great location for the lovers of long walks by the gardens, steep hills (including Baldwin Street, the world's steepest), and Signal Hill lookout. Minutes from the university and public transit. The staff is amazing and Joyce and Dave will make you feel at home with dinners by the terrace and a wholesome breakfast (this one is included, of course). Free...

This is a place with a soul the bedroom had lots of personal touches and was extremely comfortable. The view from the window which you could see in bed was absolutely stunning. Good value for money. The shared bathroom and toilet were a bit off putting but the room made me forgive this lack of personal space. The artwork well...

The good - nice location top of the road. comfortable beds. The bad - Had to pay before seeing the 'room' The room is a converted garage - the only I stayed in that didn't feel like a room. the 1st thing you notice is the garage door rails filling you view as you enter. a lot of furnitures including...

Very nice place with loads of different eclectic collections. Everyone is friendly...even the cats. Clean, well organised. Super soft beds. Breakfast is included which was cereals, toast and yummy fresh fruit salad. Very quiet location away from busy city centre. Close to steepest street and supermarket.

I found this establishment to be run by a very dedicated couple providing most of the comforts of home @ a very reasonable price. Welcoming & comfortable, homely & clean, eclectic in display of personal pieces on the walls & furniture. All bedrooms are light & cosy and the baking, the baking, home cooked cake & cookies waft through the...

My daughter and I stayed in the double room with shower for a few nights since our friends live nearby. The owners are very warm and welcoming. I loved the quiet nights in this comfortable room. My daughter fell in love with the cats. It felt although we only stayed a few nights like home. Thank you Joyce!
