I booked this place last minute and wasn't sure what to expect - was pleasantly surprised - the room was cosy and quite - plus had the added benefit of being right next door to the pub which had live music. The breakfast was in the Pomeroy Cafe which was great - the food was so good that we went...

In January , we booked 3 nights , strong positive reviews on this property. We are confident that the reception is fine, however we question the business practices of this institution. Indeed, following a breakdown of our vehicle and immobilization of several days , we were obliged to cancel. The cancellation policy is drastic because if it takes place within...

Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to give feedback on your experience. In regards to our cancellation policy, I appreciate that it is rigid but I ask you to consider our small property only has 5 rooms & a room cancelled on the day heavily impacts us. However not to defend ourselves too much, I will say that...

We had to go to the pub to get the keys to the Inn. Immediately, I was impressed with the hospitality, everyone was so nice. There is big common kitchen in the Inn. I loved it for reading the paper and catching up on my journal with a cup of tea. A really nice calm ending to our 3 week...

After a bit of an awkward start (arrived after closing and couldn't find a way to get in), we were pleasantly impressed. The rooms were very spacious and the hospitality too was well stocked with fresh fruit, coffee, teas and other necessities. The delight of the stay was our encounter with Bob at the Pomeroy Cafe where breakfast was included....

Pomeroy's Pub next door was the big attraction for my wife & I when we headed down to Christchurch for an extended weekend. It was also within a comfortable walking distance from town. We were thrilled to get a free pint at the pub which was much appreciated. We loved the room. It was warm and inviting with our own...

took us a little time to find it, but when we finally make it here we love it. a small house with a lovely garden, high ceiling and huge room. the bathroom is a bit small but it is sufficient. the kitchen is filled with foods and snacks, clear instruction every where make it easy for guests to find things....

Fabulous, absolute brilliant. B&B is separate from the bar and restaurant which is great. Rooms are well decorated, quite quirky but with all the amenities you require. Parking is onsite which is a god send and breakfast is a help yourself job from the well stock kitchen. Then there is the bar and restaurant, so many beers! So much food!...

Ideal for a short break - a little away from the CBD but good restaurant and craft beers. The team at check in were friendly and anticipated our needs, The craft beer operation is impressive. The newly opened Little Poms will be a great addition.

Lovely room with a garden view. The house is next door to a pub (which serves very good beer!), so there is some evening noise, but we didn't find it disturbing. Self-service continental breakfast (cereals, bread, jam, juice, coffee, etc.) in pleasant dining room. Fairly central, so it's easy to walk around the city (still devastated by the earthquakes, of...
