Lovely house only 10 minutes from the airport. Very comfortable, private house, felt like home from home. Viv is an excellent host and very knowledgeable about her home town. It was a great start to our first visit to New Zealand.

We spent two nights at this B&B and loved it! Owner Viv was an excellent hostess prepared delicious breakfasts for us and engaged in wonderful conversation. The room was clean and comfortable with plenty of amenities including fresh water, coffee, tea and miniature cookies. It is located on a quiet residential street and offers free parking. It is also within...

Although we only stayed one night , we were very impressed by the decor and high standard of accommodation. Viv is an excellent hostess, who is both discreet but also clearly enjoys interacting with her guests. We found lots to talk about, which made our all too brief stay memorable. Beautiful bedding, tasteful furnishings, and an excellent en-suite added to...

We arrived at the B&B in the morning after a 20+ hour journey from the US. We had emailed with Viv earlier and arranged to drop our bags off before the room was ready. On the way to the house, the taxi driver pointed out that it was in a "very posh" part of town. We met Viv and she...

We only had one night here before flying out for our journey back to the UK. We enjoyed it a lot. We were welcomed well and it was very good to connect with the host who was warm, helpful and smart! We were given good tips about various local restaurants and then a reservation was made for us when we...

This house is beautifully and tastefully decorated and furnished. Vivienne is a lady of refinement who looks after her guests with care and consideration. Her healthy breakfasts are mainly home made and delicious. We ate a takeaway from a local Indian restaurant back in the courtyard garden on our second night there as we had to leave at 4.30am to...

Absolutely the best bed and breakfast that we have ever stayed in. A home away from home, conveniently situated near central Christchurch and Hagley park. Vivienne went the extra mile for us. Her professional manner and attention to detail made this a memorable stopover.

My husband and I spent 3 weeks travelling around the South Island and were looking for somewhere comfortable, clean and relaxing. Viv was lovely and easy to chat with about the history of Christchurch and gave lots of advice on places to visit whilst in Christchurch. The house was very clean, the bathroom and bedroom were immaculate. The food was...

Greeting us at the front door like long lost friends, we were welcomed into Vivienne's home after our long drive, beautifully. The house was immaculate, and nothing was too much trouble for her (even trying to hunt down a lemon for a much needed gin and tonic!). Our bedroom was bright and comfortable, ensuring a wonderful night's sleep, ready for...
