Came for lunch while looking at a nearby project. Food was cheap enough however the woman running the cafe dropped a fish and tomato sauce off my plate onto the floor. I expected another fish cooked, however I was met by a price of fish with broken batter and tomato sauce stains on it. She said it was a spare...

Unpleasant. Woofers supposedly get one free professional coffee a day. But they give this out only very begrudgingly, and with considerable effort on your part. You have to wait and wait an wait to get it. It's just as hard earned to get the: "free washing". The kitchen is simply too small. There is only one kitchen sink for a...

Wwoofing here for a week - good vibe. Friendly staff. Nice lounge with huge TV to chill - kitchen with all facilities incl oven - basic but clean amenities. I have never taken the time to write a review on any place I have stayed but I had such a negative experience that I felt compelled to post. One of the main front receptionists at this backpackers was extremely rude to not only me, but multiple guests. She was not helpful and responded to questions in a very rude...

I did woofing there for 3 weeks, the place is very clean, the bedrooms comfortable and we had free accommodation, free laundry and one free coffee everyday. The hostel is very friendly and full of colors everywhere. I absolutely recommend this hostel.

Unhelpful staff, unorganised and messy, beds were reasonably comftable though and showers were good. I was disappointed when staff removed some of my belongings and they didn't seem to think it was a problem and when checking out a day early they refused to give me any money back

I could write paragraphs of the horrible things about Point Break but I am not the kind of person to dwell in negativity. What I will warn the readers is this place is incredibly unwelcoming, negative, and just an overall bad experience. The staff of Point Break (minus Marine and Dani) are an absolute nightmare. If you want to stay...

Point Break was clean and spacious. Stayed in an 8 bed dorm and there was plenty of room. The kitchen was also a good size and clean. The showers were big and hot with good water pressure. Staff friendly and helpful, nice cafe downstairs too. Would definitely recommend.

I waited until the last minute to book my Christchurch accommodation and I feel that's the most common mistake that brings people here. Upon arrival I saw a nice, well taken care of hostel. The rooms and toilets were neat and tidy however the rest of the hostel didn't quite follow suit. I wouldn't blame the staff as much as...
