Everything is spotless. Everything works. Every detail is thought of. Very warm welcome from the owners who know what you are likely to want and make helpful recommendations. POWER showers. Location is close to the town centre.

Extremely nice manor/motel in Christchurch, NZ. The couple that owns it go out of their way to accommodate their guests and make them feel at home. Everything is very nicely put together and taken care of. Would definitely stay there again

This motel is a gem. Decor was lovely, the room was spotlessly clean and the staff absolutely lovely. It is wonderful to stay at a place which is so obviously loved by its owners. Will definitely recommend to anyone visiting Christchurch.

This is a very nice and quiet place to stay. Located on Papanui Road in Merivale, Christchurch, it is just one of many accommodations along both sides of the road. The grounds are impeccably landscaped and consist of a grand old house flanked by two parallel buildings with ground level suites with a driveway / courtyard in between. I think...

Great little B&B near Christchurch. The rooms are nice and the service is super exceptional. We asked for early check-in and got it with fresh espresso and a smile - 6 hours early! Our hosts were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Could not recommend this place more.

Wow, what an absolute pleasure to stay in this stunning accommodation. The complimentary continental breakfast was appreciated. Immaculately clean and beautifully appointed. The furnishings were elegant and the room perfectly quiet with zero road noise.

I booked two nights a one bedroom in the Merivale Manor which was very beautiful but I realised my mistake very quickly when we arrived. I was travelling with my husband and 2 boys (8 and 6) and thought we could all squeeze into this lovely room. Once I realised my miscalculation I popped back down to reception and asked...

We had a couple of nights here before flying onto Auckland. The room was lovely albeit very small for travelling with suitcases each (216). You're given a couple of slices of frozen bread the day before to toast in the morning, with marmite, marmalade and jam and a few cereals. We marked this down as we'd ordered a shuttle to...

I booked the 2 bedroom apartment in the Manor and it was truly lovely accommodation with all of the comforts. It brought back many nostalgic memories of old homes I had visited when growing up in Christchurch. The only downside was that I booked the accommodation based on reviews that I had read which said it very quiet. The kitchen...
