In a world dominated by by boring cloned hotel rooms and staff that couldn't care less about you its nice to find somewhere with character and charm and with hosts that take an interest in you . The rooms are spotless and very well appointed with sky tv and internet and a good shower/bath the rooms have a welcoming homely...

We had Holly Manor recommended to us when visiting Christchurch for business recently. Kelly was fantastic and when I realised I had left my laptop in the minicab (doh) she took charge and had it back for me within 15 minutes. I could have made myself at home in the warm lounge and worked my way though the fabulous bookshelves....

A friend and I took a trip to Australia and New Zealand. We thought a B&B would be fun for a night in Christchurch. We immediately booked a second night as soon as we stepped in. It's a charmingly restored 1901 Victorian Manor, converted into a three room B&B with a charming English garden. Each room is comfortable and full...

Holly Manor is full of character. The room was very comfortable and clean. Kellie was friendly and made us feel very welcome. A pretty garden with shops and amenities close by made this an ideal place to stay for our first night in NZ.

We arrived unannounced and Kelly was quite happy for us to check in early as the room was already done. We were also able to leave our things in the front room and collect later. The room was nice size and went onto a lovely little garden. It was very close to a number of restaurants (went to an excellent...

We finished our 2 weekend tour of the south island at Holly Manor. Even though we'd booked the Victorian room, Kelly offered us the larger room at no extra cost, as it hadn't been booked that night. Of course we jumped at it. It was very large with a sitting area. Immaculately clean with losts of little extras. Bed very...

We started our NZ trip here and it was a perfect beginning. As we were only staying one night, we chose the smallest room which was very well appointed and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with everything included. The house itself is beautiful-Victorian with a lovely garden. We were able to walk into town, through Hagley Park, and into the Botanic...

The building itself is amazing and historic, and it has a nice porch and garden; quiet location. There are three rooms of different sizes. The largest room is very nice and has a sofa and table; the smaller room doesn't even have a table and it smelled stuffy. Prices are the same for the bigger and smaller room which I...
