Really pleasant 2 night stay at the Grange. Well located on the edge of the city near the Botanical gardens. Warm welcome from the staff, comfy rooms and a great breakfast. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

We stayed for two nights. The location was convenient for central Christchurch, museums, Botanical gardens and restaurants. The room was large, the shower was great, and we liked the little touches such as China cups. The breakfast set us up for the day. The staff were charming, knowledgeable and anxious to make our stay a success. They recommended places to...

We stayed in a lower level motel room in the back and found it to be perfect. We loved the close proximity to the botanic garden a real plus. The motel is located in a safe and quiet residential neighborhood. The small courtyard was wonderful for morning coffee or evening relaxation. There are a few cafes within walking distance for...

I stayed at the Grange with a friend for two nights. I had a motel unit and my friend was in the B and B. The motel units were very nicely furnished and my upstairs unit had doors opening out to a balcony with views over to Cranmer Square - perfect for a late afternoon drink. Linda was very welcoming...

We stayed in the guest house behind the main building, and found the room to be clean, modern and the bed was very comfortable. We really liked that they washed and dried a load of our laundry for free (as we stayed there for 3 nights). This was a great place for us to get rid of jet lag after...

We stayed here for two nights, it was very convenient as you could walk everywhere. The location is quiet and very safe. The bedroom was large, comfortable with antique furniture but modern conveniences. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We ate delicious breakfasts. Highly recommended.

Stayed in Christchurch on our tour of the South Island and the Grange was spot on. Very good bedroom, large bathroom and a comfortable bed. The hosts were very helpful and charming. Location was very good and made exploring the city easy. A nice change from large hotel group hotels.

Location: GREAT. Really couldn't get much closer to the centre. We were there during the busking festival and there was a lot of noise in the city, close to the motel. However the rooms face away from the action so the noise was only really noticable when going in and out of the room. Accommodation. We stayed in the Motel...

A charming Victorian inn located right in the center of town on the trolley tracks. Comfortable beds, clean modern baths, and delicious breakfasts. Nicely run. We would recommend this hotel to other travelers.

We had two nights at the Grange and would recommend it to other travelers. The position makes everything in Christchurch city center easily accessible. It's an easy run to the airport, tram right out front with Hagely Park North across the road. We had a self contained unit at the back of the building which was very comfortable and clean....
