We stayed in the house- B&B. Large spacious room with kitchenette, and sitting area. The hosts are warm and helpful, breakfast was excellent- they even accommodated a rather early flight we had to take. The dining area was more like a cafe, than sitting down with a family, but it is still not hard to meet people if you wish....

What a lovely, lovely place!! Motel style units are spacious and modern. Great for those with cranky knees! The house looked wonderful too (we peeked!!). Simple breakfast room but so good to have in house facilities. We'd go there again in a shot!

We had a most enjoyable stay at this motel. The studio apartment was very clean, had excellent amenities and consisted of two rooms. The motel was very close to the city, easy walking distance. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The motel was very quiet. My only gripe was that the Internet coverage was not throughout the apartment, it...

Good: great location 2 blocks from the botanical garden and the cathedral, pretty old house, lovely lounge and breakfast room, friendly staff, very good breakfast, parking provided. Less good: Big buildings on both sides (offices look into your windows!), dated and scruffy room furnishings, no decent bedside lights, nowhere to hang wet towels. Altogether it was OK, but I had...

The motel is situated behind the old guesthouse. It is quiet being shielded from the main road. The motel is in excellent condition and rooms are very comfortable. The location is perfect for access to the centre and to the beautiful botanic gardens, restaurants etc.

We did not know what to expect. We stayed in the guest house portion. Upon arrival we were met by Linda who really made us welcome. The room was really good conditioning and sound proofing. The breakfast was included and really very good. The staff at breakfast were so friendly I would have no hesitation to stay there again

The Grange is located very centrally for getting into city, local restaurants & other tourist attractions. Staff were very welcoming & room very comfortable. Breakfast was great & substantial. All in all, a great place to start of our NZ experience. We stayed in the hotel section, not the motel part of the property.

We stayed 2 nights in room 5 at the Grange B&B and were very pleased with it. The room was spacious, well decorated, and comfortable. The staff was super friendly and helpful, the house was quiet, and the included full cooked breakfasts were quickly served and very tasty. The location can't be beaten -- it is only a block from...
