The Argyle in the Park was a great option for our family of 5 they were very accommodating With our (very) late arrival providing a super comfy bed for each one of us in the family room. It's very well located - a 10 -15 min lovely walk thru Harley Park was all that was needed to join the tram...

I had guests from overseas (5 of us) and the unit was well accommodating. Host Lena welcomed us in a friendly and nice manner up until we checked out. Overall the stay and location of the motel was excellent....most likely I will book again when I have the opportunity to go back to Christchurch. Thanks Lena.

Location of this motel is good which is walking distance to Hagley Park where there is a beautiful rose garden. There is no admission fee to the park or the garden. It is also not too far from Christchurch Airport so it is a convenient place to stay. There is also ample parking space.

We usually stay in 4/5 star accommodation when we travel but we wanted a cheaper alternative for a night before our flight home. We were not sure what it would be like but got a very pleasant surprise when we arrived and saw that we actually had a separate bedroom for our kids (we assumed we would all be in...

We stayed in an upstairs studio apartment, which was clean and had a comfortable bed. We were given a warm welcome and cold water and milk was provided quickly on arrival. Room had plenty of brochures and books on what to see in Christchurch. Unfortunately someone at the motel decided to set off noisy fireworks late in the evening, but...

Dear Glenys. Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback about your stay at our motel. Sorry about the fireworks but I must mention that you stayed with us on Guy Fawkes night. This is the night when everyone in the city sets off fireworks. This is a part of the history that we try to remember....

Great for family or small group as there are flexible rooms available. Excellent service and very good wifi speed. We are in a new renovated room with adequately equipped facilities. Location is fantastic next to Hagley Park and short walk to CBD via the beautiful Botanical Gardens. Highly recommend this place!!!

I stayed here for 5 nights in a 1-room apartment (could in theory sleep 5, but would feel cramped). The motel is dated but in good repair and very clean. Proper kitchen, very comfortable bed, friendly welcome. Free WiFi with decent browsing speed. I was in Room 10, the furthest back from the road. I'd happily stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay here. Clean rooms and friendly staff. We were within walking distance to most attractions in the old city of Christchurch or to a shuttle to take us to one that wasn't. The park and botanical garden were real easy to get to and worth the walk!
