An idyllic place to start our first tour of New Zealand. Beautiful bedroom and bathroom, delicious breakfasts, and Pam and Denis were extremely friendly and helpful. We would thoroughly recommend this B & B .

Having arrived in New Zealand after an exhausting flight, from the very moment we met Pam at the airport it was like being greeted by a good friend. It's a beautiful property and Pam is a wonderful host. It's also conveniently located at walking distance to an assortment of affordable food joints. The complimentary airport transfer is a plus point....

4 of us stayed in the lovely house for our last 2 nights in NZ. It's a great way to end the trip. The pets, the house decor, the breakfast and Pam and Denis are just too great to be missed by anyone visiting Christchurch.

Lilac Rose was great accommodation overnight for our trip to Christchurch for our daughter's graduation. Denis and Pam are great hosts. Plenty of advice on Christchurch. Great atmosphere in a perfectly modernised Victorian villa. Rooms are spacious with all one would expect. Denis even picked us up from the airport and did a drop off for us, all complementary.
