This is a great place stay - very comfortable beds, spacious, very good breakfast and good location, right in the middle of some lovely small vineyards - but it would be nothing without the charming and very welcoming hosts - Kathryn and Phil - Phil met us at Picton and took us on a great day around the vineyards. Kathryn...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. It was your first review and hope that you will have many more great places to review in the future. I enjoyed our day touring the vineyards as well and hope you have many great memories of not only Marlborough but all of New Zealand. Thanks again for taking the...

We have just returned from the most relaxing holiday we have experienced. Phil and Kathryne are the perfect hosts, they are both very friendly, generous and caring people who manage to convert the running of a business into a lifestyle. The warmth and welcoming nature of their initial greetings gave us an insight into what our stay may be like,...

Phil and Kathryne welcomed us warmly to their Italian Villa surrounded by vineyards, orchards, and sheep in the country near Blenheim. The Pacifica Suite was well equipped, roomy, and beautifully decorated. Breakfasts were interesting and delicious. Phil was an excellent tour guide, picking us up from the Interisland Ferry at Picton, recommending and taking us to wineries, accompanying us on...

We had a lovely stay just before Christmas 2013. Phil and Kathryne were warm and gracious hosts and made us feel very comfortable. We also opted for Phil's wine tour, which was very informative and featured lunch at Brancott Estate -- the best lunch we had in New Zealand. Kathryne takes a very motherly approach to guests, and she even...

Phil & Kathryne made us feel very welcome and were determind to make us comfortable. They suggested restaurants for dinner, even offering to drive us there. Accommodation was extremely comfortable, lovely quiet, tranquil setting, on the outskirts of Blenheim. Delicious breakfasts, great care was taken to offer a different menu each day.

The best part of our trip was meeting local residents and Phil and Kathryn were on the top of my list. They run the most charming B& B in the heart of wine fields. Kathryn greeted us with a big hug as if we were returning friends. She cooked us the most delicious breakfast during which we enjoyed just sitting...

My husband and I stayed 3 delightful evenings with Kathryn and Phill. From the moment we arrived they made us feel like guests in their home. We were greeted at the door by Kathryn and immediately welcomed to sit down with them and have a beer and champagne. Kathryn made us cookies and had fudge and water and fresh organic...

As soon as you arrive at Antria you are made to feel completely at home by hosts Phil and Kathryne. The rooms are spacious and beautiful with all the comforts of home. Phil and Kathryne ask if you would like a glass of wine (of course we say yes) and then sit and chat with you at their Italian table...

Thank you for your review and sorry you could not stay longer. We enjoyed our talks over a glass or two of wine or "happy hour" as you called it and hopefully you will stay with us again.

We needed a quiet and relaxing holiday and could not have wished for more from Phil and Kathryn's hospitality. Our room ( one of only two) was perfectly decorated and furnished to capture the ambience of this Mediterranean style house. Breakfast was an experience. A different choice every day and cooked to order. Our short hour- long discussions with Phil...

Thank you for your review we enjoyed your stay with us and look forward to hosting you again in the future, 5 days and not a vineyard visit in sight certainly shows there is more to Marlborough than just wine tasting.. I must do the Hobbit kayak trip soon.

"A house is just a house, it is the people who make it a home" On entering Antria, you don't just check into a B&B you enter the world of Phil and Kathryne and immediately feel like you are staying with friends in their home. Soon after arriving we were offered the best cup of tea we had tasted in...
