From the moment one pulls through the gates and drive through the beautiful grounds one immediately knows you have found a gem. Selfishly I hope it remains a hidden one! Peter White and his wonderful professional staff greet you and show you round the old translocated convent. Every room has been tastefully furnished to the highest standards. Our suite was...

From the moment owner Peter White welcomed us, we knew we were in a special place. Peter has lived all over the world (Australia, England, Canada and now New Zealand). We started out our stay with a lovely talk about wine. (This is the Marlborough wine country). And an invitation to walk among their grape vines. And the food? Well,...

We loved our stay in a beautiful room. The grounds are lovely and we took some bicycles out to see the sights&sounds of the nearby vineyards. Staff are very attentive and everything is pretty new, Food is a bit difficult as very limited options.

Spent one night in the premium suite and we had an amazing experience. Pictures do not do this place justice! The room and surrounding gardens were everything we expected and more. Highlights included walking around the surrounding vineyards, swimming in the heated pool, and finishing the day with a delicious meal sampling local wine, seafood, and cheese. Peter, the hotel...

We stayed 2 nights in March 2016 and loved it. From meeting Maria, and being asked to help ourselves from the free drinks cabinet while she got the hens in for the night, we just loved this place, then known as the Old St Mary's Convent. We had the Sister Ancilla Room, which was roomy, if a bit Spartan, inside...
