Off the Mapp is like nowhere else you can stay. Jenny and her family own a magnificent piece of property about an hour outside of Blenheim: their conservation efforts are truly stunning and we loved exploring the land with Jenny in a 4wd ride. We spent 2 nights in the cottage and could definitely have used a third or fourth...

Our stay at The Cottage was the perfect getaway. Modern amenities but stunningly isolated and beautiful. Stock up well because it's an hour back to Blenheim but there-in lies the appeal. Highly recommend the various creek and valley walks - especially the Canister valley walk. If you go walking in the back country, good footwear and gators strongly recommended. Outdoor...

Warm hosts, gorgeous location, unique experience, epic views! Highly recommend staying here. Plenty of wildlife- bird watching and deer spotting. Specifically The Cobb Quarters has a inviting outdoor bath and shower overlooking the valley/river. Can't get much better than that.

We stayed in the Cob Cottage; it was wonderful. Everything about the cottage is just right; the furniture, materials used, the views, the beds and bedding, the outdoor kitchen and seating area, the bathroom and all the finishing touches. The highlight is having a hot outdoor shower looking down at the river and the far away mountains. The cottage is...

Warm people, stunning view. This is one of those places you must visit to complete your new zealand experience if only for the sights, the people and the peace. The shower and bath facilities are inspired and I really suggest bringing a swimming costume. Next time I *will* be bringing a bottle of lagavulin and a good book. This is...

We had a wonderful stay (March 2015) in the cob quarters cottage in a beautiful and peaceful environment. Off the Mapp is also a sheep farm. We visited this remote accommodation during the period of sheep shearing and we were invited to take a look at the sheep shearing. Roland explained the process about the sheep shearing and the hard...

Jenny and her two lovely kiddos, Ben and Sarah, are wonderful, kind, friendly hosts who really go out of their way to make sure you have the BEST experience you can possibly have while staying at Spray Point Station's "Off The Mapp". Everything is immaculately presented and the whole property and it's various accommodation options have a unique, luxuriously rustic...

We stayed at the Farmhouse which was very comfortable for the 5 people in our group, there was plenty of space and also a collection of toys for the kids to have fun with - we were also lent Billy the goat as a temporary pet which our kids absolutely loved. The scenery is magnificent and constantly changing as the...

Once in a while you are lucky enough to visit somewhere that truly captures you. This is one such place. A stunning location, really cool accommodation (several options depending on what kind of experience you're looking for), lovely hosts, and that feeling of truly getting away from it all. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for something...

We searched for something quiet and really off the beaten track - certainly found it at Off the Mapp - Jenny received us as we arrived and took us to and from the Boundary Creek Hut. This is about 10km on off-road / cattle roads up into the valleys where you only come across beehives, sheep and wild goats. Lovely...
