We stayed in this apartment during a very busy weekend in Wellington. The location is good, close to all that is wonderful about Cuba Street, and the service was great. The apartment was clean and just large enough, but the noise from the restaurant/bar below was a problem until well after midnight.

I've stayed at these apartments a few times on various occasions and will continue to come back mainly because of the prime location and wheelchair access also good value for money and very clean. There is free wifi and the heater provided keeps the room nice and toasty. The downsides are that it's right above a bar which can get...

Pros: very convenient, functional apartments. Clean, well maintained. Cons: Terrible and stingy wifi (you get given one week's access, even if you're staying for a month. So slow it won't load Web pages in the evening). Rooms are either boiling hot or cold - no heating or air con, people leave their room doors open even in autumn to try...

We stopped at the Southern Cross apartments while in Wellington for the New Zealand v England Cricket Wold Cup game in February 2015. That's right, the one where England got destroyed!!! Anyway, we found the apartment to be more than adequate for the 3 of us, the beds were fine, the room clean, bathroom ok, tv fine and the wifi...

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights . Our room was compact but ideal for us. The complex is situated close to the top of Cuba Mall and has a great restaurant next door with very yummy stone grill. I was warned that some rooms were quite noisy especially if they were near the bar or restaurant, because...

We arrived late, and the staff was great, left a key inside the locker outside, we just used the code on smartphone and got it. The room (2-bedroom accommodation) was very clean & nice , but one thing that disappointed us was that we had to pay to get wi-fi. The location was great.

the rooms were very small, cold, not enough blankets on the beds, uncomfortable mattress, a very tiny shower. this would be considered a low quality apartment. This should be cheaper for what it offers.

This apartment is in a great location (essentially at the top of Cuba Street) which means it has restaurants and bars on practically on the doorstep. There is a hotel/restaurant attached to the apartment building, but we didn't go there. It is an easy walk down Cuba Street to Lambert Quay and the waterfront, in fact anywhere we wanted to...

Stayed there for 6 days. Very well priced and excellent location, but extremely noisy on the Friday and Saturday nights. They have a good Garden Bar Restaurant next door but that is where the noise comes from. And it is bad, we could not sleep! There were 4 of us and while the apartment was small, it was excellent value...

Horrible place , Bad Smells , Bad cleaning , I've had horrible experience. I have complained about some broken window and broken fan that was making a horrible noise at the night , and no one moved a toe against this. Couldn't sleep at night because of the cracking sound of the fans and the window whistles that have never...
