I'm definitely coming back. The check in was seamless and when we got to our room, the staff had written a birthday card for my daughter. It's these small touches that make my day. Thank you for making our stay so amazing ❤️

Nice location but frustrating when there was no room outside to park and unload our car (we were told we couldn’t book parking and were then told we could (no-one seemed to know!)) room was clean and tidy - but smelly from the restaurant downstairs when the door was opened on to the balcony. There was also half drunk bottles of coke in the fridge! We probably won’t be back as we feel there is better value elsewhere in Wellington!

We were happy with everything. Nice, clean room with everything you might need. Great hairdryer, btw. Breakfast was really nice. The only thing I didn't like was the shower in the bath - not a fan of that kind of setup. The bed was comfortable, airconditioner worked well. Parking is a problem and expensive, but that is the same with all central city hotels. Very handy to Bluebridge ferry.

So here’s the thing about chain hotels. They’re supposed to be the same, feel the same.... this one almost hits the mark. The rooms are great, the front desk is great, but the restaurant just fails to impress. The service is fairly ho hum, the food is great don’t get me wrong, but everything just seems to take so long to achieve. They never seem to have enough people rostered on and the staff are just not interested in being there. Getting a coffee shouldn’t take 15 minutes, asking for soy milk shouldn’t feel like an imposition, using a table shouldn’t feel like your inconveniencing them. It’s billed as one of the better places to eat, but I’m just not feeling it. It’s been like this for several years now. Just as well wellington is spoilt for good eats, and there’s alway Uber..... Having said that I keep coming back, because the rest of the hotel is great, and really central.

It was so dirty and service was not good at all. After a year of covid, we thought we would book a nice hotel for our holiday but 3 of us ended up with flea bites. Maybe we got it from outside but the only place we went before hotel was museum and we only saw bites next morning. Swimming pool was filthy without a clean for 2 days since I swam every day, I noticed lots of hair in pool and same rubbish was not removed for 2 days in bathroom. Whoever checked us in and out and during the stay, none of them have a smile at all, don't even mention about eye contact. Very disappointing.
