Clearly an older hotel but the tariffs reflect this -very reasonable prices. Good sized rooms-good selection of TV channels.Very close to all major attractions and great restaurants. Bus services outside hotel giving easy access to CBD and waterfront. The best feature would be the staff - very helpful and pleasant.

I stayed here because it is close to the Basin Reserve and I was going to a test match. It is a 10 minute walk. It is also a 10-15 minute walk to the central city. The room was quite large and so was the attached bathroom. Everything was clean and tidy and the daily servicing of the room was...

Great little hotel with older styled facilities but easily accessible by taxi and service was great. I was only in Wellington for one night but reception really helped me with local activities and things to do.

Stayed for 2 nights in march. Check in was not good to say the least, the computer system was 'down', this meant although they could check me in, they couldn't allocate me a room . It then became very busy with other guests arriving. A fellow guest eventually informed me that the computer system was working again but staff were too...

Dear carNottinghamUk Many many thanks for your review. You are referring to a situation which took place last Saturday and which has been a bit stressful for everyone. The Hotel team has worked very hard to keep the operations running and deliver the best service possible. It was not easy because all information about bookings, arrivals, room cleaning status were...

I knew that I did not book a real fancy hotel, but you I think I expected something more from the hotel. It is obviously past it best time. Renovations are required. Especially in the bathroom. It was really mouldy around the bath/shower and the shower curtain was pink from the mould. The free shampoo and conditioner were not replaced...

Dear Bea T Allow me to start with the end of your review for a change. I am very very happy to read that "you would go back". We try not to take things personally when comments are highlighting the age of the building or the need for refurbishment. But as I wrote before guests comments are what make us...

The room was dirty and beds were full of other peoples hair! In 3 days cleaning staff only came in once and made beds after we had ripped off the covered to have them changed. The room was noisy with traffic and could hear the elevator constantly through the night and not vacuumed. The room was just dirty and bathroom...

It was good to see that there had been some refurbishing of rooms in the latest rebranding of this property. The Reception staff were helpful and there was a computer on the Lobby floor which could be accessed! The location can be a little distant from Wellington Central but on the plus side it's nice and close to the Aro...

Room had dirt and grime all around windows. Traffic noise is very high. Room was very small, no wardrobe, just hooks on wall. Standard of fittings and furnishings late 1970s. Miles from CBD.
