With my friends we booked one night before take the ferry and that was horrible. The kitchen, the toilet, the bathroom are really dirty. It's cold outside and the window in our bedroom can't close .Seriously for few dollars more you can go in better hostel. I understand why this hostel have a lot of negative comments. Next time I'll...

Well, its old building, need renovation in bathroom and kitchen but so far I found it clean. Staff is doing their best by providing excellent service. The manager is really good, sorted out our issues immediately, very friendly and jokes a lot. I liked the environment and will visit again

We had a VERY mouldie room with 6 beds(3 bunks). The mattresses were terrible..if we didn't have a spring in our back then we were lying on a hard mattress. The rubber in the pillows was coming apart they were so old.The only space to move was about a metre wide the length between two sets of bunks.I had to ask for...

To be fair you get what you pay for, and it was an experience. I woke up thinking 'so that's what your first night in borstal feels like'. It didn't feel unsafe, it didn't smell, so thats good. Nice hot super powerful shower, clean sheets, good mattress. UNUSABLE mens shower, mens toilet door doesn't shut. Occasional man in the ladies...

You get what you pay for or in this case you get worse then what you pay for!! I actually felt like I was in a prison when I arrived in my four bed dorm. The room was small , smelly and claustrophobic . I banged my head on the top bunk numerous times I'm surprised I didn't get concussion....

DO NOT STAY HERE! Disgusting, vile establishment that appears to have never been cleaned or maintained. Noisey, dirty, mouldy, yuck. In the alley outside there are people living out of their cars in questionable hygiene conditions. If you value your health stay away, I would feel safer sleeping on the street!

Take my word, pay the extra for yha ! You get free wifi there and the management can actually run a business ! Here you will pay 25 a week for wifi anyway, but isint a bad price but rather pay that on the accom in yha and get wifi include! Works out the same. The whole first floor only...

A simple, cheap place to stay, in a building that's seen better days. The ablution block on our floor was a bit cruddy, but it was clean. Card / keyless entry to doors, with a pin entry for after hours access to front door. Comfy bunk beds, nice linen, heated room (would be really hot in summer). Window catch broken,...

Me and my boyfriend stayed here before our long trip in the morning to Europe for a holiday. The only good thing is the location close walking distance to everything and we had a private room which was nice and clean that was about it.. Staff were not very friendly, the noise was so bad all night long we didnt...

This hostel was absolutely disgusting!! The mattress was so thin I could feel the metal bars on my back all night. The sheets were filthy and in result to this, me and my partner both got nits from this! The bathrooms were also terrible, supposed to be gender only, however every night there was a male cleaner in there and...
