Was pleasantly surprised with the room. Although the hotel is dated and old fashioned, the room was clean, tidy and had everything I needed. Room included tea/coffee making facilities, small fridge and tv. It is so handy to Courtney Place. Traffic noise wasn't too bad,...More

Old hotel, but clean, cheap, with a safe parking lot. Nice receptionist, helpful and welcoming. Close to bars and restaurants, close to port where you embark. It's a good value for one night rest before going south.

Yes the location to Wellingtons attractions is great and a myriad of restaurants and bars just down the road make Halswell Lodge ideal for a short or extended stay. Thanks for taking time to review. Hope to see you again.

Older property so most rooms are either small or teensy. But #12 at the front of the building is large and has a complete kitchen and a small balcony. Parking is up a really steep hill that's scary the first time you do it! About...More
