Enjoyed my stay. Rooms were clean and tidy and well cared for. Staff were helpful and welcoming. Well located, close to CBD, Te Papa and shopping. Easy access to transport links and the airport. Would come and stay again.

cant be bothered to even review. could not order room service breakfast as that is only possible if there is a medical issue. had to wait for my bags to be returned as the reception staff could not find a guest name and there was a queue of 10 people waiting to be checked in. no one talk or advised he queue on what was happening and why was there a delay. bed side lamps did not work. windows are not safe so don't step close to them or as there is a massive drop of 18 floors from my floor.

Kia Ora vaibhavbhatnagar2021, Thank you for your feedback. I'm sad to hear your recent stay at Travelodge Wellington fell short of your expectations. In room dining is available for our dinner menu daily from 5pm but unavailable for breakfast. Our F&B team would have been able to organize a continental selection of items (cereals and fruit) the evening prior if this was required for medical reasons. Following review with the team on duty at the time, I have also noted that the delay you experienced at reception coincided with a group arrival and an IT issue with one of our computer terminals - I apologize for the lack of communication you received while trying to retrieve your bags. I understand the team believed you to be part of the group and I recognise that this was an oversight on our part. We have investigated the issue relating to the bedside lamps and as both lamps were operational at the pre-arrival check of your room, this appears to have been caused by the incorrect insertion of the keycard on entry (which activates their operation). In terms of the opening windows, I am sorry this was a concern for you but almost all our guests appreciate the option of being able to open their windows during their stay. These windows are securely fixed with limited opening capacity and we complete regular audits to ensure that they are safe for guest access / use. Once again, thank you for your feedback and I hope you will offer us the opportunity to better host you in the future. Ngā mihi,

We arrived very late from the Interislander ferry so made virtually no use of any of the facilities. It was very nice to have opening windows in the room and a view of the harbour as well. The room was quite small but perfectly adequate for our overnight stay. Large suitcases may be a problem though. Bathroom had very good facilities including an oversize shower. Location is very good, easy to get to by car with onsite parking (charge) and direct lift access to Lambton Quay.

The beds are amazing. Very quiet considering the location of the property. Our dining experience was terrible, being given off old fish that couldn't even be swallowed. Little things need to be fixed eg shower heads.

For 2 nights either end of a driving tour of South Island the hotel provided a comfortable central haven in Wellington City. Easy access down Plimmer Steps to main shopping area. Excellent service from staff. Both rooms were very clean and comfortable.
