Stayed here for 2 nights, found the rooms comfortable and pleasant, although hot, being the middle of summer and lacking in at conditioning. The attached restaurant served great food in a lovely location, for both a dinner and a breakfast that we had there. Excellent service, from both staff at the desk and particularly our wonderful and charismatic waiter. Good distance to town, made for a quick drive, and being so close to the beach was great. Would recommend, especially for its service.
We had a small room which was clean and all we needed for the night. The pool was small and lovely to refresh yourself after a drive. Our issues were overnight when other guests were playing music from 2am to 4am we rang reception but no answer and were informed upon checkout that alternative numbers were needed to contact overnight staff.
Booked 3 rooms, short time later had to cancel, without my knowledge they deducted a percentage of my funds because I cancelled despite the booking stating clearly free cancellations. I feel this is false advertising, I couldn't find anything on my booking stating they would do this. Only if cancelled the day before, I gave them 6 weeks notice.
Management needs a lesson in customer service. Clearly she is out of touch when dealing with a situation and proceeded to snigger over the phone. My card was charged $100 5 months after my son spilling a drink on the carpet. I brought this to their attention upon check out and was told they should be able to get it out but if not I may be charged. I had no issue with that but asked to be contacted. Yesterday I discovered my account was less $100 and due payments didn’t go out because of this. When speaking to the manager I was told she had been trying to charge it for the last 5 months and it declined. Dam rite it did because only make certain funds available in that account. Not once was I called even tho they have all of my details including my email and phone number. She says she made a lot of attempts but no one single phone call to bring it to my attention like I asked. She then proceeded to tell me I dealt with her and she told me when in FACT i never once spoke to her, it was the receptionist and the cleaner. She then proceeded to tell me that I wouldn’t of paid for the stain and I’m like the other million people who do these things and not pay. Rude and assuming to say the least. I’m happy to pay for any damage and why would I have brought it their attention if I was trying to run away from it. Had I known I would of made the funds available. You just don’t expect it to happen 5 months down the track and would think after all the attempts she would of called me out of courtesy at the VERY least. Horrible woman to deal with and would not recommend this outdated uncomfortable motel in any case.…
Stayed here for one night in a double studio room, room was small but cute, we stayed on a Sunday night so plenty of parking and the place was quiet. Bed was comfy and shower was hot with ample pressure. Was a pleasant stay would stay again thanks
