You couldn't ask for a better accommodation! Lovely hosts, beautiful house- everything top of the class! Minarapa Lodge should be the first address when staying in Taupo Region! Some of the highlights: - very clean and cozy rooms - tasteful furniture - delicious breakfast - well-educated dogs And many more! Btw, as we arrived in Wellington we had a nice...

We've just returned from 3 weeks in New Zealand, and the Minarapa Lodge was definitely the highlight of our stay. It's in a beautiful spot, just out of Lake Taupo town and Shaun and Pep have it just right. Lovely sunny rooms in a separate annexe, great breakfasts and amazing dinners cooked by Shaun! Shaun and Pep are so friendly,...

Pep and Shaun are lovely lovely people, we stayed 2 nights there, as soon as we arrived, Pep asked us to give her the heaviest luggage and she would take it to our room, it wasn't busy when the time we went so she even ask us to put our stuff in the other room and even said we can...

We absolutely loved this place! We were greeted so warmly by Pep and Shaun and their three lovely daughters and immediately felt at home in their magnificent house. Our room was delightfully decorated with great attention to detail and the shower in the bathroom was just brilliant. We took the opportunity to have an evening meal at the property and...

We were welcomed by hosts Shaun and Pep (and their sweet daughters) to the Minarapa Lodge. Since we were on our honeymoon Pep upgrades us to the biggest room and give us a little bottle of champagne to celebrate, so sweet! The room was great, nice comfortable bed, good shower and facilities. Their house and surrounding land (with sheep, dogs,...

I stayed here during a work trip, for work near Whakamaru. The hosts Shaun and Pep made me feel very welcome and I found it super easy to relax after work. Originally I had intended to head in to Taupo for dinner, although the meals at Minerapa were too good to pass up. It was great to have some conversation...

We had spent two nights at this wonderful Lodge. The first impression in finding the place was that it is rather far from the lake, distance-wise. However, that subdued thought was soon distinguished as we were welcomed by the hosts Shaun, Pep and the children. Instead, we found the house and surrounding farm charming. Most of all the friendliness of...

My husband and I stayed at Minarapa Lodge 3 nights. Our room and en-suite were bright and comfortable, the service was excellent and we really enjoyed our stay.. Their farm location in the valley is the perfect distance from Taupo, far enough out to be very peaceful and relaxing but also close enough to pop out for dinner. Pep and...

I have to absolutely concur with all the positive reviews on Minarapa Lodge, the hosts, Pep and Shaun super. Lovely daughters. Spent a wonderful evening on the patio sharing a bottle of wine and talking. The guest room we stayed in was beautiful, with a very calming feeling and very tastefully decorated. And Pep, if you read this review I...
