We received a very warm welcome from Gabrielle, the owner of this wonderful B&B. The fridge contained 2 beers and a bottle of white wine in addition to the normal milk. There was also a bottle of red wine. These touches are really welcome and show the generosity of Gabrielle. The room and bathroom were spotless. The breakfast was large...

Gabrielle was the perfect hostess. Inspite of being located on a major road, we were not disturbed at all by the traffic. Restaurants, shops, and coastal walkway were all within walking distance. The valuable parking area was a distinct advantage. Breakfast was top quality with all tastes catered for. We had a spacious room, but with a rather compact bathroom.

Recently spent two nights in this amazing place, which felt more like home than a B and B. Gabrielle is so welcoming and helpful with ideas of things to do and places to eat in lovely New Plymouth. The rooms are comfortable, clean with little extras like biscuits, free Wi-Fi and a wonderful breakfast in the dining room. A short...

Lovely room, well planned and very generous resources - wine, bottled water, biscuits etc. breakfast was incredible, set us up for the day. Location is slightly awkward in New Plymouths one way system, but easy once you get a grip on it. Parking easy, and nice to have your own keys to come and go at will. Just a short...

I stayed 2 nights on 2 separate occasions. It's such an awesome place - the accomodation, cleanliness, breakfast, location and all the little extras. It's really beautiful and I highly recommend it. Really close to the centre and the coastal walk

This was my first visit to New Plymouth and staying at Airlie House made it a perfect experience. We came up for the Garden Festival so it was great to stay in the Garden Room which was very comfortable and tastefully laid out with a lovely bathroom next door. Gabrielle is a wonderful host welcoming us and showing us where everything...

As a small family group (3 couples with 2 infants) we were able to occupy all three of Airlie House's 3 gorgeous bedrooms for a weekend. The rooms varied in size and facilities but were all to a high standard with lovely personal touches from the host/owner Gabrielle - home-made biscuits (cookies), flowers and drinks. We are made very welcome...

We recently had the pleasure of staying here. We stayed in the Studio apartment and the Garden Room as we were a group of 3. Both rooms were wonderful. Gabrielle is the most lovely host and the house itself is beautiful. No small detail was overlooked. Beds were comfortable, heaters were turned on in our rooms for arrival, there were...

Travelling to New Plymouth on a monthly basis for work, Airlie House was ALWAYS my accommodation choice. When booking accommodation I look to stay somewhere 'special' and more 'boutique' in style - this lovely bed and breakfast certainly has all the charm and comfort. Gabrielle is a fantastic host, and provides a home from home service, delicious breakfasts and clean,...

My third stay here and it will continue to be my choice when visiting Taranaki. Once again I stayed in the Garden Room with its separate bathroom, heated floor tiles and wonderful toiletries. I really enjoy the little extras Gabrielle provides, such as home made cookies and mini chocolate bars and now there is also a guest fridge in the...
