We only stayed one night on our way through Rotorua down to the South Island, but this little hotel was excellent. Right from the check-in it had a really good feel. The staff were pleasant and full of great information and took the time to answer all of our questions. The rooms were stylish, very clean and quiet. Would stay...

We stayed in one of the two bed roomed apartments and found the standard to be first class. The furnishings were stylish and extremely comfortable. We had donned in the restaurant on the first evening, the menu was varied and the food beautifully cooked and presented. All of the staff were helpful and polite, they assisted with bookings for activities...

we stayed here for two nights , loved the funky black and white decor of the rooms, which were spotless. The room we had was upstairs , our daughter slept in the lounge, if I could find anything to criticise it would be that we were possibly a little cramped, so check you will have enough space if you are...

Wow, what a fantastic place. Everything is rather kitsch, all rooms are very black and white and very glamourous. We stayed in room 28, which was in the new building and was a 2 bedroom apartment. It was very spacious, with 2 excellent sized bedrooms, 2 ensuite bathrooms, a lounge, a dining room and a kitchen .... plus breakfast was...

We stayed here for three nights and what perfect nights they were. The room was so fresh and clean. The level of detail in the rooms and in the whole hotel was stunning. The building might not look like much from the outside but don't judge the building, its the rooms and the service that matters and you wont be...

Brent and Darryn have done an excellent job making this a comfortable and stylish place to stay. We booked a junior suite were delighted with the room and the hospitality. The pool/courtyard area was comfortable and everyone there was very friendly and eager to help. The hotel is located right in town within walking distance to the lake and plenty...

This hotel was on the bottom of my list after a four week trip to New Zealand. The two new owners were friendly and helpful. They had given a sub standard motel a substantial facelift. But during our two day stay, I was constantly reminded of the saying, "you can put lipstick on a pig but it's still a pig,"

As we drove I had one of those 'oh no' moments as from the car park side of the property it didn't look as special as I was expecting, however a second later I was positively 'wowed' by the courtyard area and the reception/bar/dining area. Really nicely and elegantly done. Our room was off the courtyard which was great and...

When you first arrive at this hotel you might not expect it to be all that it is. The wonderful motel is quaint, clean, and has some amazing amenities in addition to a great breakfast. However, what is the most amazing about this gem is the quality customer service. Upon arrival, Christine helped us book a spa treatment, arrange travel...
