The location was fantastic, parking a breeze. An easy walk to eating areas of a kitchen of your own. The apartment was very large with heaps of room to spread out. The hot pool and spa were very relaxing after a long day sightseeing. We will visit again!

This hotel is in the perfect spot for a stay in Roturua. The hotel is right bang in the centre and everything is within walking distance. On arrival the hotel was very welcoming and provided us with everything we needed including a map of roturua and a free wifi code for our stay. The guy on reception was very helpful...

The motel provided us with a comfortable base for a few days in the amazing town of Rotorua. A spacious apartment with two big bedrooms, a bathroom, extra toilet and large living area. The biggest plus was a really warm swimming pool, small but adequate, a thermal hot pool and a jacuzzi.

An adequate lodging experience. The room was relatively clean, though the towels could use an upgrade as they were quite coarse and stiff. As we were just there for a single night, the big draw was the hot-spring mineral pool – hidden in the midst of the motel, the pool was empty when we visited. It was fantastically warm and...

Stayed in one a bedroom unit (double and single in bedroom and two singles in lounge) Unit no 7 (on 3rd floor) which had great view out to Lake. Ambassador is a basic motel but had everything wew needed and very warm with under...

We took an apartment which turned out to be half a traditional New Zealand house. Naturally it looked a bit older from the outside but, let me tell you, it had everything that could be needed inside, and was very comfortable. Furthermore, it was only a five minute walk from the city centre, and from "Eat Street", a veritable bonanza...

We stayed here for one night in a 2 bed unit. The lady running it was extremely helpful (I am sorry I didn't get her name). Everything was clean and tidy and there was plenty of room. We had a wallow in the sulphur bath and the hot tub, all good for the soul and good fun. It is also...

I booked this motel as it was right in the centre of town and easy to walk to shops, restaurants and the local park. All of which was excellent. I also booked it because of the thermal pools but when we arrived we were told that if I went in I needed to take jewellery off as it would be...

What a find! Absolute silence in downtown Rotorua. Rooms are large and well laid out, beds comfortable, showers hot + strong. Slowing its age in places, but you're not paying $300 a night so who cares? Will recommend to others and would happily stay again.
