I had the most wonderful weekend away staying at peppers on the point in Rotorua. We stayed in the gorgeous villa that had breathtaking views of the lake- we sat for hours, both on the deck and later inside the beautifully decorated lounge by the fire, mesmerised by the view. The following day we spent an enjoyable hour walking and...

This is a secluded hotel with a beautiful view of Lake Rotorua a short drive outside of the main town. If you want action its better to stay in town. Breakfast was simple but nice. Peppers is more of a great bed & breakfast than a full service hotel but we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at PotP during a tour of both islands and very much enjoyed the stay. The room was spacious, had a comfortable bed and a large bathroom with jet bath. The view was lovely and we enjoyed the food and the level of service. The main building itself is interesting and was nice to walk round. We both had...

Website said check in was during certain hours. We arrived about four hours late. No problem, the proprietor was waiting for us with an umbrella in hand. We ended up staying an extra night because we were so happy with the property. The included breakfast was awesome and the rooms were absolutely delightful.

We only had one night there and it's a pity we did not have more. The facilities are quite traditional with wood being present everywhere, and it gives a warm and really classy look to the place. The rooms are very large and invite to relax. Service was outstanding, we had dinner and breakfast and both were amazing. In fact...

We have just returned from our honeymoon tour. We only stayed here for 1 night and it's a shame we couldn't stay here any longer. The room was enormous and absolutely gorgeous with views out onto the lake. The bathroom was the size of most normal hotel rooms. The breakfast was beautiful and the staff very friendly. Would higher recommend...

We needed to find somewhere in Rotorua for C's belated birthday and to take our hosts from Lake Tarawera out to say thank you so we asked another local foodie and he recommended Peppers on the Point. Great choice! Wonderful atmosphere, great food, impeccable service...what more can I say. It was a set menu but with great seafood chowder, venison,...

Rotorua is an outdoor playground; you go to be outside. In-town accommodations, however, left us a bit cold. Most were "motor lodge" type, renovated no doubt to a modern standard, but sharing real estate with car lots and shopping centers. Only 5 minutes away from the fray, however, was Peppers on the Point. Car necessary, but all the better to...

Great location with 180 degree lake view, large villas, excellent personal service, very attention to details! Walk down the stairs to the beach where you can swim with black swans. Close drive to all activities, we love it!

The location of this lodge and quality of the property is outstanding! We stayed in one of the lake cottages and it hasn't disappointed. Beautiful views, small kitchen with hot plate, microwave, fridge and to our surprise a washer and dryer.
