The most amazingly friendly people we have ever met! A great location close to the sights but quiet and off the main drag. The cycling facilities were fantastic as was the private spa and pool. The apartment was just perfect, nice and modern and clean with everything we needed, topped off by the nicest people you could wish to meet...

The hard work and effort that Pete and Tristen have put into the Sport of Kings shows they really do know what they are doing. We stayed for one night on our tour of New Zealand. From the time of booking until check out they could not have been more helpful. They booked up attractions for us and suggested what...

Someone should appoint Tristen, the dynamo behind Sport of Kings, Minister for Tourism. Purely on the basis of her superb advice and enthusiastic recommendations, we stayed several days longer then we'd planned at Rotorua. Accommodation is excellent - brilliantly laid-out motel-style room which offered a bit of spatial segregation (nice, when you've been cooped up together for daaayyys in a...

We had the most lovely stay at this fantastic motel. Incredibly welcoming, generous and helpful, both Pete and Tristen ensured we wanted for nothing and were able to explore Rotorua to its fullest. Wish we'd stayed longer, we would recommend this place to any of our friends. We will definitely be back!

Perfect - clean comfortable room, super friendly hosts. Loved the heated pool and barbecue area and free bike use. Very peaceful , comfortable beds. Convenient for thermal pools and great walks, especially enjoyed Rainbow Mountain walk, all within half an hour drive.

The management could not be more helpful, our room was spotless and the beds very comfortable. Our introduction to the motel was excellent Pete and Tristen could not have been more helpful and information on the area was brilliant and one must not forget the discount vouchers offered.

We only stayed two nights and thought the owners could not have been nicer, the location was great and we even had breakfast in the room. A good sized room with a big comfortable bed and well positioned away from the main street. Unfortunately it was quite hot and we could have done with A/C

I have -never- ever met friendlier hospitality staff than Pete and Tristen (i kept calling her Kirsten for 2 whole days, imagine that). Where shall i start ? The facilities were spotless and each motel room had their own private spa which was heated 24/7. Even the public pool was heated and very well maintained. It was quiet and traffic...
