Our friends and I spent 5 nights with Mick and Theresa at Mokoia Downs. They treated us like family but provided hospitality with fantastic attentiaon to detail. The B&B is in a great setting as a small holding in a sheltered part of Rotorua. Extremely peaceful. Food was tremendous with homemade yoghurt, fruit smoothies, muesli , bread and wonderful breakfast...

My wife, daughter, mother in law and I came from China to have a vacation in New Zealand in mid February. We booked Mokoia Downs Estate B&B and took the Tarawera Suite of two bedrooms for our visit to Rotorua. The 4-night stay was the best experience we ever had at a B&B. Amazingly, Mokoia Downs having only four bedrooms,...

This is probably the best B & B we have ever stayed in. The house and surroundings are peaceful and beautiful, with a paddock (where we fed the sheep and donkeys) and small lake, and our accommodation was extremely comfortable. Theresa made us very welcome as soon as we arrived and took a lot of trouble helping us to plan...

This time we visited with our 2 under 2 children. Our oldest enjoyed all the animals in the estate, especially the donkeys. Feeding the...
